And What If Animals Ruled Us?! | Artist Reverses The Role Of Human And Animals In 30+ Parallel World Illustrations

#Humans are no #doubt the most #intelligent species on planet earth. They have managed to use everything in their surroundings into something of use to them. Some of the exploits have led them to create a hell on earth for other creatures that are exploited for the benefits of humans.
From meeting basic needs to leisure, animals do not know rest in the human-run world. Artist Barbara Daniels is turning the veil by introducing a parallel world where human reverse roles with the animals. What would happen if animals were given the same privileges as we? These are some of the questions that run the mind when you go through these chilling #illustrations.

Vegan Dating and Relationships – Cory McCarthy –

fear formidable and fantastic hey everyone it’s Cory McCarthy and welcome to a new episode this is gonna be an off the path type of topic for me but one of my viewers recently asked me for dating advice for vegans this individual specifically addressed how weird most people perceive veganism and the limited size of the vegan dating pool I thought it would be a fun topic to hit up a nice change if you will besides for most people living a fantastic life includes a fulfilling love life so it fits my motto of fit formidable and fantastic I do want to preface that I am no fucking Casanova or a relationships expert but I have my own experience as and more importantly I am capable of logical thought so I will give my best advice on this matter so just take it for what it is my advice first let’s look at the stats as of 2014 at least in the u.s. 79 percent of vegans were female on the surface this appears to be good news for single vegan men who only desire to date vegan women but you also need to factor in sexual orientation and relationship statuses of the 79 percent of women some will inevitably be homosexual others will currently be involved and possibly even married and the same goes for the men which make up the remaining 21% then we need a factoring desirability of those remaining men and women how many would make a quality partner ultimately this is a relative assessment as different people will find different traits to be desirable and finally location where are all of these single and desirable vegans in relation to you some places are still essentially vegan wastelands where you’d have a better chance of spotting a white buffalo than finding another vegan according to happy cow the top 5 cities were vegans in the world are Berlin New York City Portland Oregon San Francisco and London the runner-up cities were Los Angeles Xian Mei Chang Mei in Thailand I hope pronouncing that properly I’m probably butchering that Singapore Toronto in type nonetheless if you’re a vegan guy you’ve certainly got a larger selection of women to choose from in general and likely if you’re a quality vegan guy you will have more women receptive to you within the vegan populace so unfortunately vegan ladies it might be a bit of a challenge for you so what is my best advice given all of this if you’re adamant that you will only date other vegans will first give vegan dating services ago sweeping your current and nearby metropolitan areas for singles a quick Google search will turn up some tips and services for vegans at your disposal you can also check on social media like Facebook for our vegan singles groups or vegan meetup groups in your area here in New York City where I live we have a group called vegans of New York on Facebook that is and while I have yet to attend one of their social events they do offer them regularly perhaps there is one for your neck of the woods or you know something similar another possibility is to get active in your local vegan community or the nearest one to you attend protests or demonstrations and while the core purpose of these isn’t to hook up and don’t be a creep and go there with that intention but you will inevitably meet other vegans and who knows you might simply click with one or more of them and if your area is that dry on vegans perhaps consider relocating if that’s the possibility for you recall the list of top vegan cities that I had stated earlier and don’t reject the possibility of meeting someone online I mean why limit yourself to your neighborhood when there is a whole world of opportunities out there especially in this electronic age the perfect vegan partner for you might be in another city or country so again use social media and other technology to your advantage and when you are presented with an opportunity in any way don’t be afraid to let your interest be known as the old saying goes if you never ask you’ll never know finally if all else fails and you are willing to be flexible you could consider dating a vegetarian where the gender figures are more equalized at 59% women in four 1% men and who knows she may under converting them to veganism by example they are almost there arguably that said I am NOT suggesting anyone settle I personally would rather be alone than lower my own expectations even slightly but that’s just me so I’m still putting that vegetarian suggestion out there and don’t worry about people considering you weird for your lifestyle choices if the behavior and habits of the average person is any concept of what is considered normal then I am fucking proud to be a weird vegan so follow what you feel and know to be right even if that makes you a pioneer in a sense if we all just follow the status quo afraid to make any waves despite knowing that something is wrong that there would never be positive change or progress in this world so keep your heads up and let the haters hate likely they hate out of fear whether they can admit to it or not possibly a fear of change even anyhow please stir up comments and dialogue below and offer some advice and tips that may have worked for you and perhaps even some that I have been considered who knows maybe your special vegan someone might be watching this video right now people meet through so many different avenues also please like and share this video so maybe it How We Manage Our “Mixed Diet” Relationship

if you’ve been watching the show for a while you’ve probably noticed that we put titles under ourselves sometimes Duncan vegan and Liz not vegan and then we get asked how can this not be vegan she’s been doing this channel for over three years mm-hmm she’s been exposed to all this amazing food and then also educated about the cruelty behind the meat and dairy industry this his girlfriend still not vegan she annoys me she’s not funny clever or pretty enough to tolerate her animal murder leave that ignorant girl if she has not changed by now that’s me well that’s my wife you’re talking about there yeah but it’s one person in particular who’s been commenting for a while now the same comment on every one of our videos and yes is she vegan yet if she be did she begin yet is she begin yet not vegan you should get a lawyer cuz you should divorce her oh did she say that yeah we’re talking about you vegan Tina we wanted to get a little bit more info on vegan Tina so we’ve looked at her channel and it looks like she is an activist she’s got videos Oh make her an activist well it looks like it was taken with her phone so that she was present there okay she’s got these two videos of pigs in a transport truck chained up they’re not chained up they’re just stuffed in there yeah so that they can’t move they’re on their way to the slaughterhouse yeah so first off Tina I want to say thank you for capturing this and sharing it with people so that more people can be educated about the reality of the industry and second I totally understand where you’re coming from when I was getting into being vegan I immerse myself in images like this into the undercover footage and it made me very angry and also gave me a sense of urgency that I needed to do something about it to change it and so I can relate to where you’re coming from if that is where you’re coming from and understand why you would be frustrated with Liz not being vegan it’s technically accurate that liz is not vegan but it doesn’t tell the whole story mm-hmm so in my past relationships before was BL I was a pescetarian and I wanted my girlfriend’s to also be pescetarian but I pretended otherwise I wasn’t clear about that so I would kind of passive-aggressively stew silently if they were eating meat in front of me without really talking about it and it eventually led to a notebook falling off the table Dada Dada and some kind of fight so when Liz very mature I know that that’s what I’m getting to okay this thing so when you and I got together mm-hmm and I was really into you mhm and feeling like maybe this has a potential future the two of us I thought it might be wise to bring up the issue early this is maybe three months into the relationship yeah yeah and if we had kids not to be presumptuous anything yeah but if we were to be together and have kids yeah could the kids be vegan do you hear that conversation yeah yeah and what did you say I think I said I would be fine with raising them vegan but if they got to a certain age and they wanted to make the decision on their own then they should be free to do it right which is reasonable yeah we didn’t work it all out in that one conversation but it’s set the stage for an open channel mm-hmm so then when we moved in together about a year after that yeah we had the discussion about what non vegan foods would be okay in the house yeah we agreed that I could have um cheese or fish or eggs how did you feel about that I felt fine yeah yeah I mean obviously I had to rethink a lot of my go-to staple dishes and I normally made mm-hmm but wasn’t too difficult to get a chance to live with that goober with this goober yeah but I didn’t say anything about eating meat around me yeah right I whenever we went out to dinner I always tended to order something that we could both have so we could share food right but there was this one time that we got takeout from a ramen place dumpling the dumping place yeah do you want to watch the footage sure yeah so this is the pork dumpling incident we can just like scroll through it okay react to it are you nervous no it’s been a long day okay to baby showers today I woke up early I went rock climbing for two hours yeah Epictetus it II for the baby shower we like do another baby shower mm-hmm I know I look like a fascist you don’t at the end of it we were very hungry and I suggested dumplings dumplings and things which is the place I’ve come to the floor because it used to be new my old apartment well it’s got very exciting yeah we get in there I look at the menu and my first thought is maybe we should go somewhere else or I should go somewhere else because it’s it’s there’s only a couple veggie options I actually got somewhere else no we shouldn’t because I want to let you do what you want to do okay but I wasn’t really clear about that so we go up to the counter to order i order my stuff and then Liz orders what is that beeps ooh and important pork dumplings how are you feeling about the so far no it was a lot more emotional before we started rolling on this yeah we’ve kind of cooled down we should capture this yeah I don’t know if I’ll ever release it but we just captured this moment yeah there was another couple in the restaurant so I was talking really proudly and I looked at Liz and I said Liz what the how could you do this I feel silly talking about it now why don’t everybody like tell us story yeah until I use it as an example of how to work through something like this yeah but we haven’t worked through it Duncan still hates me I do understand you but this is also 28 years of my life and thinking that I’m changing and I’m doing just like fej sometimes you have slip-ups but you shouldn’t give it up right it doesn’t make you but I don’t feel like you’re doing it for any other reason other than to make me happy so now I can get along better what’s wrong with that why is that bad it’s not bad because I’m a fundamental level we don’t understand each other that’s not true I understand you if you really understood why I was vegan I feel like it would become more naturally to you in your own life no I fully understand it I just don’t see the world the same way that you do but I’m working on looking at it that way and that’s the kind of talk that makes me feel like I’m trying to brainwash you or lead a cult or something like that it’s not I think if I were to go back and be able to do this over I would just say you you know what I just realized I’m not comfortable with you eating meat around me yeah so let’s let’s finish this meal and you know talk it through mm-hmm rather than kind of being like [Laughter] I am going to walk home by myself so email I hope I am going to listen to the Cure echo and the Bunnymen do want to take myself too seriously sometimes sometimes yeah yeah everythink you already know that huh I don’t want to shame you into doing something right what I believe is right shaming I was trying to get you to see my side of things look I’ve got a little bit of vegan Tina in me in that when I see me I see those animals in the transport truck we’re not resolved anything from the beef stew incident let’s go get them beep now we thought that we were gonna resolve this conflict but it has just been torn open well baby you know I have a tendency to be hypercritical mm-hmm in my relationships and somewhat hypocritical too I get on the Liz about using her phone and then when she goes to sleep I’ll sneak mine out and like be on it for the next two hours at the same time I did discover my comfort level in this episode here with the beef stew mm-hmm I did finally discover I don’t want to be with somebody who eats meat in front of me and fortunately liz is super chill and rolled with it and thank you you’re for that yeah and it’s been it’s been over a year since you’ve had me yeah yeah yeah ish you had a dream about eating chicken wings right I have recurring dreams about eating fried chicken wing really yeah it happens a lot in my dreams so what does this mean not like a lot but like at least five dreams I’ve had in relation to eating chicken wings what are you feeling in the dream I’m just eating it mmm cuz you know you ate it on the bones and you just eat it and it was it’s like good and crispy and you got like the yummy meat and I’m like ah dang it now I’m back to day one of not eating meat if you were to eat chicken wings I wouldn’t freak out ah does this mean that you’re constantly craving chicken wings and I’m keeping you from that no not in my waking life I don’t ever think about them yeah in my dreams I think yeah will you cheat on me in your dreams too right yeah yeah so as you I we can’t help her dreams yeah exactly it doesn’t mean anything I cheat on you with a vegan version of you so really yeah it’s possible to be much it’s just me I’m gonna be yep you can make it happen babe would I prefer that Liz was 100% vegan yes but it’s really not a big deal since we made that agreement three years ago I took I cooked fish once in the house and you were like it’s so smooth really yeah you still bring start sardines in sometimes those are very stinky I haven’t seen cheese in this house no in over a year yeah I haven’t seen eggs in this house and maybe several months uh-huh are you still planning to buy eggs I bought them that one time when you were gone for like two weeks huh ah but I didn’t really want them by the end of it mm-hmm so for all intents and purposes 90% of what you eat maybe is vegan Yeah right so which is why we’ve tried to communicate that with some different labels like like cetera vegan ish mostly vegan yeah that seems to rustle more jimmies than just saying not vegan mm-hmm I understand why people are very hung up on labels and committing to a specific lifestyle of going completely vegan being an omnivore and being a mediator but I think one of the main reasons why we started this chair is that we didn’t want to say this is the lifestyle that you should have this is the way you should be living your life this is the way you should be eating your food this isn’t the way you should be cooking just if you are curious about being more plant-based then this is a way to do it and this is a way to make familiar recipes with vegan and see how they come out hmm I don’t want to ever have a channel that is an accepting of people who just are trying to be vegan one day a week or one meal a week mm-hmm I want to support everybody in trying to eat more plant-based nice thanks so what advice would you give to somebody who’s in a relationship and they’ve decided that they want to be vegan but their partner’s not interested mm-hmm well then you have to understand that you can’t make somebody eat a certain way or believe something that’s impossible you know what it was like before you were vegan you know what the mindset was but being a person who’s just gonna be in their face about it is just gonna put more damage on your relationship than it’s probably worth then you should let everybody figure it out on their own and you also need to figure out what you’re comfortable with like if you don’t wanna cook meat for them didn’t say you don’t want to cook meat for them and then they’ve they’re after you make their own food or you or yeah I suggest tricking them because people have bad associations with the word vegan mm-hm if you just don’t tell them it’ll probably be delicious I suggest subterfuge deception manipulation whatever it takes to get what you want right communication communication knowing who you are trying not to get bent out of shape about certain things liz is very good at that and that’s why we’re so good together and and and having that having somebody that I can speak honestly with in her not getting bent out of shape about it is so valuable and so worth whatever compromises I have to make it’s worth it honey let’s go get some pork dumplings Oh what you’re so over filming this video right now aren’t you dear Tickle Me I swear to God I’m over it bro i’ma jab you in the neck whoa yes oh yes let’s get back on mission here yeah I want to go get some ice cream yeah

MY BOYFRIEND ISN’T VEGAN + DATING A NON VEGAN | PLANTIFULLY BASED

Because I’m gonna go vegan and he’s not vegan we can’t date anymore I would have made a really big mistake hi guys I’m Francesca welcome back. Today we’re doing a video talking all about how my boyfriend is not a vegan before we get into it I just wanna remind you guys if at any point you like what I’m saying be sure to subscribe leave a like give a comment down below let me know are you dating someone who is not vegan as well and also I’m gonna have some video playlists pop up throughout the whole video so after you done watching this one if you want check out more you can just click over there and they’ll be bunch of videos for you to watch so with all that being said let’s get into it so let’s backtracked when I first met my boyfriend back in January 2016 we just recently celebrated our two-year anniversary if you watch that vlog so when I first met him I wasn’t a vegan we actually had grilled chicken on our first date I cooked it for us we made pieces on Valentine’s Day so I was not a vegan he knows me as a vegan and a non vegan and in April 2016 is when I decided that I was going to go vegan at that time he was very supportive he was just a little concerned like are you gonna be getting enough you know vitamins protein all the usual stuff you usually hear from people but other than that he was super supportive and very excited for me it was awesome because honestly if he wasn’t I probably would have broken up with him since we were so new into the relationship and I always promised myself I would find someone who was going to be supportive of me and proud of me and if he wasn’t then it would have been someone else but he was so that’s why he stuck around and I remember he just said like cute little things like one time we went on a picnic and he like made me a sandwich that was vegan and he like wrote vegan on the tinfoil everything even though there was only two of us but it was just cute little things like he really supported me and then of course when he found out about the Instagram because I didn’t tell him initially he was super supportive of that and everything and he watches my YouTube videos so he is overall just an amazing supportive person and I’m so lucky that he’s my boyfriend because he just is always happy for me and supportive so obviously we’ve been dating for a while now and he tried last year in January 2017 to go vegetarian at that time we weren’t living in the same state so it made it a little hard for him because he doesn’t really cook for himself and he was kind of like well I came home and I ate an apple today for dinner and I was like okay well that’s not dinner and he’s a big guy he’s like six foot one very muscular very athletic so I was like you’re gonna be super hungry and he was hungry and cranky and eventually he went back to eating um you know like an omnivore regular diet if you have watched any of my other like lifestyle videos you know I’m very big I’m not pushing veganism on anybody nobody push it on me and I don’t want to push it on anyone else so at the time I was like yeah it’s okay don’t worry whatever and my boyfriend eats everything in sight like he loves like Buffalo cauliflower pizza always less my vegan chili so he is very open to trying being in foods so that was always really nice and then in January 2018 he decided to go vegetarian again and now we’re living in the same place so it makes it a lot easier he’s been fully vegetarian since then and it’s good because then since he’s here I can make sure he has a lot of food that he likes and like hearty meals and you know he’s not just eating an apple for dinner so that is basically my experience so far like that’s kind of been like our little journey together a cool thing I guess about my relationship with my boyfriend is he loves animals like he’s always been a very big animal lover so he understands where I’m coming from with the veganism and obviously he did decide to go vegetarian so that’s like a very big step so we do have that common ground however obviously he’s still eating dairy eggs and I’m not so it’s kind of cool because it kind of challenges both of us to listen to the other one and here we have to say and let’s say he goes I saw like why eggs are good for us and then I could say well I saw YX are bad for us and it kind of challenges us to listen to the other person broaden your horizons and also just like gain more knowledge which i think is really important in a relationship I think it’s really important to challenge each other and it pushes me to learn more about being a vegan and it pushes him to listen to me it pushes me to listen to him and you know it provides a nice way for us to have a good conversation it’s definitely been very interesting obviously the longer I’m vegan the more passionate I am about these feelings but like I said nobody pushed veganism on me so I’m not going to push it on him if he eventually turns vegan that’s amazing but I want him to do it in his own way in his own time just like I did it in my own way in my own time are going to be people who disagree with me and they would rather their partner be vegan and that’s totally fine that’s why we all get to have our own relationships and choose who we want to be with if I were single now I don’t know if I would still want to be with someone who is vegan because I remember when I was single like two years ago and I was dating around I lived in New York City at the time I was going on a million dates with a million kinds of guys and just surveying the whole lot if you will um I have some really good dating stories if you guys ever want to hear them and I found it so hard to just find somebody who just like wanted to be in a relationship right like at that point I was like I just want to find somebody who wants to hang out with me for like a month you know what I mean and just finding somebody like that was hard enough as it was let alone finding somebody who was genuine who was honest she was hard-working who was you know a good person inside all those things I didn’t like them being vegan on top of it would just be kind of another requirement and if you’re single you know probably how hard it is to date you know it’s hard to find somebody who you feel like very comfortable with and who you can’t feel like you could see a very big future with and all those things and it takes a while to find them and I just feel like potentially adding veganism as another requirement or not a requirement but you know something I’m looking for could be hard that’s not to say you should sell yourself short but I just think potentially if I were single again and I was vegan and I met Ferdie I don’t think him not being vegan would have pushed me away from him if that makes sense and the only reason I’m telling you guys this is because I know like a lot of people are single and let’s say you’re dating and one of your big requirements is you want this person to be vegan right but then you meet this amazing person and they’re nice and they’re kind and they’re funny and they’re hard-working and they’re generous and they’re you know they’re everything you’re looking for except that they aren’t vegan I mean of course it’s your decision it’s your relationship but I would say maybe try to keep an open mind maybe they’ll be open to veganism maybe they’ve never been exposed to it before and you can I’m not telling you to change someone but like I said like you can expose them to new things take them to vegan restaurants you know think like that and maybe they’ll be really open to it and maybe they’ll change like a lot of vegan non vegan couples who date and then the non vegan person ends up going vegan just because they’re exposed to it and then they think it’s really cool to you got to keep an open mind and not think just because somebody isn’t vegan that they’re not a good person so two questions that I got asked by you guys were what am I gonna do if I have kids well we’ve talked about a little bit but we kind of never really come to a conclusion and we’re so far off from having children like that is so far in the future that I’m just kind of gonna let time take its course and when that time comes I’ll figure it out when I first went vegan my thoughts as opposed to now two years being vegan are completely different I have completely different opinions completely different standpoints so time changes everything don’t have these kids yet obviously I’m not even close to having kids yet so I don’t want to like think about that if that is the thing that is super important to you then do you make sure to talk to your partner about it make sure that you guys are on the same page but like I said time changes everything and who knows what I’ll want in three to five years the other question I got asked is how can I stand it when he eats meat and dairy well obviously doesn’t eat meat now but how could I stand it when he ate meat I’m the only vegan I know I don’t know any other vegans so I’m surrounded by meat and dairy and eggs and all that stuff all the time so it doesn’t really bother me I grew up eating that my whole life I’ve only been vegan for two years and I’m 25 years old so yes I don’t particularly like to be around it but it doesn’t entirely bother me either yes the smell is different now it is funny how my nose has changed and how ground beef smells like death now yeah it doesn’t really bother me because I’m surrounded by it all the time however I guess I could see if you live alone and you’re vegan and you have a lot of vegan friends then yes maybe having a partner who isn’t vegan and I’m eating that kind of stuff around you would potentially bother you overall the thing that I hope you guys take away from this video is that if you have a supportive loving partner significant other person you know whatever don’t push them away because they’re not vegan I think that would be a really really big mistake like I could not imagine my life without my boyfriend and had I been like oh well mmm because I’m gonna go vegan and he’s not vegan we can’t date anymore I would have made a really big mistake he is too good of a person to pass up all just because he isn’t vegan and like I tell you guys with anything and like if you’ve watched my other videos if the person is supportive of you if they’re willing to try new things for you if they’re trying to you know make the effort for you give them that benefit you know don’t push them away don’t make them feel like their efforts aren’t good enough the one thing I will say I guess to play devil’s advocate yes if you find yourself in a situation where your partner is not supportive where they are making fun of you where they are not really getting it and its really bothering you then yes break up with them because they’re usually not supportive than in other aspects of your life I’ve said that before if someone doesn’t support you in one aspect of your life and they’re probably not supportive you in other aspects of your life and you should probably move on and get rid of them get rid of the toxicity I hope you guys enjoyed this video I know it was kind of a mishmash of a video and it was like all over the place but I hope it helps you to open your eyes a little bit see a little bit more what it’s like to date a non-vegan and that it’s not so bad and yeah I’ll see you guys in my next video please make sure to LIKE um and subscribe all that good stuff if you enjoyed the video and go watch some more videos right now I’ll see you guys in my next one bye

Vegan Dating + Long Distance Relationships

I always have to make things food so me and Jasmine have been dating for a year and a half and I thought I’d make a video about vegan dating long-distance relationships stuff like that and just our general advice on how other vegans can meet up and you know issues with long-distance relationships so yeah we’ve been dating for a year and a half and how did we meet yeah so we met on Facebook Jasmin messaged me first and yeah he just basically said he wanted to be friends get to know me and stuff and she was a PC gamer too just like me she’s into different games but you know we had common interests and pretty quickly you know just got serious we fell in love and I wanted to just be like girlfriend boyfriend at first and you know it’s kind of weird to have a long-distance relationship but you know I really liked you and thought it was worth it just coming I don’t know just somebody from Canada somebody from Belgium sometimes it’s just difficult to work out you know yeah maybe not I’m weird though yeah so I thought it was worth getting emotionally invested in her because she seemed really nice and you know with my type of occupation it was pretty easy to just fly out there and at least meet you and actually before we even did that I told her that I love you I was the first one who said that yeah yeah and things you know things got pretty serious pretty quickly awkward you are talking about this yeah yeah things got pretty serious pretty quickly and we ended up meeting in person back in April only a few months ago really and yeah meeting her first in person just felt right didn’t seem weird at all like I know some people who meet online they don’t have anything to say and just the whole you know dynamic of the relationship totally changes but me and her really got along and and then I’m here again came wet in July middle of July and staying here for three months and me and her actually planning on getting married that’s a crazy though yes without the cream yes so I guess let’s start talking about the long-distance relationship thing first because I guess that’s a big thing for a lot of vegans because we’re sort of few and far between so long-distance relationships I guess some of the difficulties we’ve had it’s just really hard only talking on like Facebook and Skype and it can get just it hurts sometimes like right deep in your chest that you know I’m together you know and I guess you kind of have to decide for yourself if the person’s worth that kind of pain in the long run yeah and Jasmine’s definitely worth it now we’re finally together after how long did it take for me to actually see you in person here yeah we were like apart for a year until we actually met each other in person but in some ways it can kind of be good because all you can really do is talk and you get to know somebody pretty well in a long-distance relationship yeah yeah I guess one of the issues is like trust issues because we’ve kind of had that and you know I think you the writer depends on the person the history yeah yeah that did you have not having any trust in anyone it’s very difficult right right you have to have a little bit of trust in the other person and they have to trust you too for it to kind of work out if you think the other person’s gonna like fool around with other girls or guys and cheat on you while you’re apart then you know it might it probably won’t work out if there isn’t really any trust so you know if you’re a fairly trusting person people do have to earn trust though too so and you know all you can really do is talk to them kind of get a good feeling about them and kind of trust your own intuition on things and worked out for us and other problems you think mostly Renner family members of friends trying to tear you apart yeah yeah interests were just talking shit regular person without knowing them at all yeah Jasmine’s sister said some things about me trying to convince her not to be in a relationship with me and my mom did that a lot as well saying it’s totally not worth it you can date other girls in Toronto and I just never let that get to me because I knew jasmine was really special and she was worth meeting so that was never a problem for me so yeah I guess just deciding on whether or not that particular person is really worth the pain of just not seeing them for quite some time getting over family members friends kind of not agreeing with it or giving you trouble and working out some trust issues that’s just the biggest considerations in the long-term relationship yeah I make a very good living and just my job gives me so much mobility and that’s another consideration that somebody else might have to have – yeah yeah so you know maybe you’d have to find another job in an entirely different country because you know Canada Belgium it’s not even you know we’re not even in the same country so someone one of you might have to support the other for quite some time so that might be another issue for you but luckily we didn’t have that problem shut up and the next part of course since were vegan I thought we talked about vegan dating and there’s issues with that because vegans are few and far between I guess I guess the first biggest issue is deciding whether or not it’s actually worth dating another vegan because it’s hard kind of finding each other like for me there’s no way I could be a date a meat eater I just can’t handle it at this point what about you right no people have like the mindset if they can change and go vegan but right so much stress yeah especially initially getting already like it’s not a healthy start a relationship yeah and I like for me it would give me serious trust issues because like you know you can’t expect somebody to just go vegan straight away just because you’re vegan and you’re in a relationship so you’d expect them to like cheat on their diet and then that would give you trust issues like some people just go vegan yeah some people do and some people just take a year but I wouldn’t yeah I I wouldn’t be able to do that yeah oh just grossed me out kissing somebody who just had like meat or cheese or dairy yeah so and then again you might have to go the long distance route if you’re dating another vegan if there just happens to be no vegans in your area other than that like other than the internet a very good place to meet other vegans would be at animal activist events in Toronto there’s the Toronto Pig save and direct action everywhere those are the two big groups I know of and there’s also like vegan meetups that I’m involved in like potlucks and stuff and you can meet quite a lot of guys and girls in there there’s a pretty diverse group but um yeah you just might have to go the internet route and the internet route isn’t always a long-distance thing it might be pretty close I know some vegans are kind of socially awkward and not very open in public thank you like me yeah yeah you’re actually worse No you just pretend and not hate people but deep down inside so I’m social and I’m fluent and that’s something you’re not at all I can make conversation and you get I can talk good all you do is response and he doesn’t make conversation out of your own separate friends basically yes so meeting people on the internet isn’t really a bad route and the benefit with internet dating not necessarily even going to an internet website just going on like some vegan forum and you know you can meet somebody who you already know is vegan and even if you go on a dating website you already know their interests whether or not they’re vegan so you can spare yourself the issue of actually going outside dating somebody figuring out their interest and then you know wasting tons of time and even money figuring out if you’re at all compatible in any way so you know going to a dating website figuring out of somebody’s vegan and if they’re into some similar stuff like you it’s also a good round Facebook though yeah yeah Facebook we met on Facebook it works you know good relationships start on Facebook or other social media sites yeah yeah just becomes what you make out of it I guess yeah don’t count count out a relationship just because you met on the internet it it works we met we get along really well and it’s planning on making it very long-term so I’m not making a face I don’t need to fart I farted like before I came in here I no I don’t think so [Laughter] those are tips for vegan dating in long-distance dating and relationships it’s kind of well yeah we sort of dead oh yeah I go online for dating whoo shut up so those are our experiences with vegan dating in long-distance relationships and some of our own tips and hopefully some of you found that helpful and of course keep making those vegan relationship gains are you doubting let us begin now with the Tao the way it gets to your plate

eTalks – The Secrets of Food Marketing

eTalks
我使用創新的話術 回到我們在 porkcare.org(豬肉照護網)的老朋友

Vegans Louise and Frank – Vegan business owners band members & created World Vegan Day

Highways and high five all right but we’re here about the Cabaret which is the cowboy at calomel so how did you like get into creating a vegan cafe gallery event space anymore things add to that well it was all quite random really we always kind of had a dream about some kind of dream that we did reality and then it would have been about a year and a half ago maybe a bit longer I just saw a random sort of facebook post about this particular venue and that possibility of taking over and running into the restaurant like way because we it’s all our daughter very close to you and we knew this space so I just leave trying to believe what I just don’t see it on Facebook and we used to have a chat about it long and hard about it decided we should give it a go because we didn’t at least new order for my situation here to compete against other people happy one I what’s the best event are like program you put on I what’s the thing like you remembered and on our that’s so cool that’s made my day however i think when we’ve had really good bands so we know for us to hear is to burn a couple of times we’ve been heading up to that it would be round I think we did reach the two big on over irrigation and I felt that’s a good number you can still move around is not too jammed you can see the bound in comfort oh yeah a good band lots of people reserves hmm as we got into this staff interested in the arts in as well the selection of staff you lied so let me get something right one of my favorite Oh and she’s she’s great I think she just touch with our it already in to eat her and so she kind of me oh good and raise some money you know as well that was really popular event very committed we had Tom Robinson come and play here who’s who had some big hits in some teas and 80s but it continues to be a BBC Radio 6 DJ uncle and he’s really well known for having glad to be gay and he did a version of that song adopted at one point which is really funny things that because everyone was a bit hesitant about singing because it has yeah and he was like hold on it’s okay you don’t have to be getting to sing this song here everyone and then after that everyone sort of thank you and actually it was really young it’s quite moving actually I found it please you create the world vegan day so how did you come about creating that and what are the achievements you’ve had from it okay well well big day when I was president and we were in the lead up to the Society’s 50th thinking about how to celebrate this amazing occasionally and already have one more I’d already have one idea which is to create a fill and then I’m current exactly remember how the ideas that came into my mind Wow why don’t we created died and so that was much easier than making the film because that was really just a matter of announcing it but when I thought about it was really to commemorate when the society would start it started by very small number of people who have this crazy idea that you could live without essentially live without exploiting animals and at that time which is in 1944 sightings found people literally thought we would die bad enough that you vegetarian now we all know clearly different actually you’re healthier as a beacon who you know you’re gonna Diagne be much healthier but at that time I just thought I find it incredible that those people at the beginning had this idea separately around the country came together as community for the day each other decided to found the society an into doing the war Second World War he’s in line when food was being rationed food was already severely restricted at that time and I’m just so inspired by these people and I felt they deserved to be remembered each year in fact that those people founded the society all those years ago so when we founded well-being well being in day we decided it would be the first of novo the exact date okay about so it was started in 1994 it’s amazing now it’s all over the world people do all kinds of and it just still serves as an opportunity to take the idea how to other people or to simply celebrate it and it’s you know it’s Damon people I think just celebrate create conditions that but you mentioned the film that you created so what was a film about well it was created by four of us really running drugs in in real life you’d be like but that was the first major undertaking actress but that at that time we were ye we were pleased to have the presenter Benjamins great British poet represent and we made a 25-minute promotional film about veganism that was well received I’m still proud of that work which you can see on youtube and yeah the film I’m really proud of go on it’s called truth or dare so lots of people want to start being businesses so do you have any tips for them the starting their own well because it happened to us by accident I just say really I mean we’ve been doing this for just over a year now if you want to get into the restaurant business the best and the key is really to get a good team you enter into this type of business what you need to and to be my advice is to be very determined set your goal and go for it if you make a mistake don’t worry we all do with their mistakes I made loads of the state’s every day and I try to learn from the run be a better person be tolerant of people some people like myself see a vegan argument and change very quickly other people they take but everybody is a potential video so be tolerant of people business other side so ten years to finally get it of you like leaving for life so you have been in a bun so as the band called and what’s it like traveling and playing music and well I think there’s nothing beats being on stage playing your own music in my experience so those of the highlights of my life are being the moment when you’re on stage playing us or moving beats my experience the band ring is calling this frenzy which we lazy about putting music out where we do have a small record deal most about next year do you drop in veganism in your music I think somebody asked you this before about I would say to us but it’s actually I think it’s really difficult songs can below nice but so we have sort of we did earn some gone on our album which is a little violence which cool it’s actually an ex somebody used to play these total king two gave it up because he couldn’t relating children into so that song which is kind of related he was the first he was an actor he changed his mind basically and regretted doing is instead a very powerful thing which is why he used the sample and then I wrote the music around that fitted in with the concept of the album which was an examination of violence what I put over the top of Everest sometimes quite shocking statements from people for examples of moments when they’ve been involved in a violent situation or contributed to violence in this case Ronald McDonald contributed and then become a reformed character i would say stay away from its own writers i find it a bit cringing it’s you’ve got to be very clever to pull it off in a way but other I recognize other people like in small but I have to jump in here and remember that i did do I’ve done a couple of league in field DJ mixes which is a collection of tracks some of them by very well known pretty much i buy very big all students a lot more than I ever thought that was it took me ages reserved so some of there are some really good it’s a great one quiet I goons that figure I did find a lot really do examples might be Dina by the youtube com vegan okay so in my case I have got involved with my local animal rights group in Southampton and I was already vegetarian although I didn’t stay vegetarian for very long because I met some vegans who were in a another animal rights group that was down the road and I came across a vegan society leaflet read it and I just connected immediately with the leaflet the argument like leaflet just very simply made the case for veganism and just like if I recognized immediately thought by the vegan mmm maybe not sort of conscious quite consciously in that way but my totally connected little got it I suppose and then basically I decided with my boyfriend at that time I think maybe we were both living at home or something so we decided to book ourselves a holiday in Jersey go away from here before decided to be season so then we both look begin at that time I was the age of 18 and even really met anyone who was vegetarian but I traveled to Europe I wanted to sort of broaden my horizons on a coached Greece somebody gave me Buddhism well vegetarianism was discussed and when I came back to make moment its soda seed in my mind because I didn’t want to be I realized I wouldn’t want to do that myself for me as well I just wanted to opt out of all that and then about a week later I’ve to go veggie I was in a Holland America parents store in southport and the first edition of the new revamped vegan magazine had come out I happen to see that I open it up when I read the definition I thought actually that makes more sense to me sort of bored out of a live-and-let-live attitude adding one of involved please do you have any tips for people that want to go vegan well I think I really enjoyed it you know it’s presented as you’re giving up something that you’re gonna miss I never missed eating meat or cheese or dairy once I found suitable alternatives the whole world of food opened up for me better healthier I declare a conscience i’m just literally recommend the thing is it’s enjoyable you know you’re not denying yourself something whole different way of living now is the time to go vegan because it seems that it’s really exploded in school now has been in the media but in my experience I will say it is the set maybe not the best decision I’ve made in my life that’s certainly one of the imagine not being thing just say it really contributes to the right thing but it’s the nature of the food itself as well it has so many positive effects on body or mental health emotions and it’s just a more enjoyable really like honest it’s more than that so much go to be I think as I ever not yeah I mean for the future the planets as well aware that fifty percent of greenhouse gas is actually generated from animal agriculture everybody’s we want to save the planet sometimes a lot of let’s go to be 10 billion season in this century a lot of people a book to start eating a hell of a lot more food you can see the beginning of that happening now I think I know it’s more related the future with mass migration because and that’s already it’s all there it’s also a resource we do start making changes and taken on radical ideas like a vegan future the planet will be destroyed by who hmm and append them vation because too many aspects of the planet and it’s all good year round so thank you good you’ll end up XP be coming for a professional a very good start yeah

Portobello Live! Music Festival x Sustainability on Screen (London’s Debut Vegan Film Festival 2019)

Hello and welcome back to Lauren’s vegan vlogs today we will be discussing portobello live best of all let’s go it’s the wrong vegans yeah welcome back to the channel if it is your first time my name is Laurent hmm very nice and simple isn’t it and today we are discussing Portobello live festival which is coming back for its fifth year now up until now it has been an amazing music festival centered around the message of one love and the creative community of Portobello which has been a breeding ground for creatives for years of decades now absolute decades it’s amazingly amount of talent musicians actors creatives writers that have all come out of Portobello and the scene still holds strong today hence the festival now this year comes with the addition of sustainability on screen an amazing amazing edition which represents the very first vegan Film Festival to be held in London and that is absolutely huge interest has come in from all over the world and it’s so exciting to see that the hosts are gonna be Richard Hobday JB McCormack and Claire every these two guys you may already know them the little London vegan amazing well done you we really like your channel I know all your pages and stuff it’s really cool and of course JP he runs the most amazing vegan market there is a nuns in the Portobello night market it is awesome every second and fourth Thursday of the month and he will be taking care of food at the festival so you know it’s gonna be ah so good now let’s get into the films that we’re gonna be seeing the documentaries we’re gonna get to talk about and of course those amazing Q & A so you can expect to see such titles as unto earth which is a community sustainability project we’ve also got the ever-popular Dominion we know we know what’s happening there for those of you don’t get ready we’ve got 73 cows because 72 just wasn’t enough when you’re 73 very Hudson not anything to do with the plane don’t want completely different story sure right which is going to be an environmental documentary and finally we have vegan round-the-world which actually sounds like a great name for a song maybe like a cover of rockin around the world whatever there will also be amazing panelists which are gonna pop up on the screen right here because there’s just so much going on and the panel is absolutely star-studded as well as you can see Bob but but but yes it is all happening up here so this is going to be a really really exciting event for the vegan community in London and even more so for the vegan community in West London because for those of you don’t know London is a very big place and when you live on one side of London it’s not always that easy or comfortable to go to the other side and as many of you know East London kind of holds the heart of the vegan community right now with so so so many events and restaurants all being over there such as unity temple oh just it’s too many and it’s too depressing so I’m not gonna get into it which go okay right but this festival represents a humongous change for us in West London it shows how big veganism has become and it shows that that West London is ready to accept it and embrace veganism into its heart so please do check out the ticket link down below up so you might be wondering why it is that I’m getting all hype on this as well well the reason is actually very simple because I’m going to be taking over this social media are you’re going to see this crazy face on all of the channels Instagram Facebook Twitter and YouTube so check all the links down in the description they’re right down there along with the ticket link which is surprisingly cheap so just don’t even think about it just do it it’s gonna be two days seven stages amazing movies amazing food amazing times and this is it this is it guys we’ve finally gotten to the point where we are being accepted with open arms into an enterprise had no reason no need to actually go vegan but they wanted to and that is what counts that’s what we all want for this world we don’t need to make people go vegan people need to want to make the change and this is the driving force and it is happening right now so it’s beyond exciting I am absolutely losing my marbles as you can see so please let me stop talking you go check out the ticket link like dislike leave your comment down below let me know what
