MY BOYFRIEND ISN’T VEGAN + DATING A NON VEGAN | PLANTIFULLY BASED

Because I’m gonna go vegan and he’s not vegan we can’t date anymore I would have made a really big mistake hi guys I’m Francesca welcome back. Today we’re doing a video talking all about how my boyfriend is not a vegan before we get into it I just wanna remind you guys if at any point you like what I’m saying be sure to subscribe leave a like give a comment down below let me know are you dating someone who is not vegan as well and also I’m gonna have some video playlists pop up throughout the whole video so after you done watching this one if you want check out more you can just click over there and they’ll be bunch of videos for you to watch so with all that being said let’s get into it so let’s backtracked when I first met my boyfriend back in January 2016 we just recently celebrated our two-year anniversary if you watch that vlog so when I first met him I wasn’t a vegan we actually had grilled chicken on our first date I cooked it for us we made pieces on Valentine’s Day so I was not a vegan he knows me as a vegan and a non vegan and in April 2016 is when I decided that I was going to go vegan at that time he was very supportive he was just a little concerned like are you gonna be getting enough you know vitamins protein all the usual stuff you usually hear from people but other than that he was super supportive and very excited for me it was awesome because honestly if he wasn’t I probably would have broken up with him since we were so new into the relationship and I always promised myself I would find someone who was going to be supportive of me and proud of me and if he wasn’t then it would have been someone else but he was so that’s why he stuck around and I remember he just said like cute little things like one time we went on a picnic and he like made me a sandwich that was vegan and he like wrote vegan on the tinfoil everything even though there was only two of us but it was just cute little things like he really supported me and then of course when he found out about the Instagram because I didn’t tell him initially he was super supportive of that and everything and he watches my YouTube videos so he is overall just an amazing supportive person and I’m so lucky that he’s my boyfriend because he just is always happy for me and supportive so obviously we’ve been dating for a while now and he tried last year in January 2017 to go vegetarian at that time we weren’t living in the same state so it made it a little hard for him because he doesn’t really cook for himself and he was kind of like well I came home and I ate an apple today for dinner and I was like okay well that’s not dinner and he’s a big guy he’s like six foot one very muscular very athletic so I was like you’re gonna be super hungry and he was hungry and cranky and eventually he went back to eating um you know like an omnivore regular diet if you have watched any of my other like lifestyle videos you know I’m very big I’m not pushing veganism on anybody nobody push it on me and I don’t want to push it on anyone else so at the time I was like yeah it’s okay don’t worry whatever and my boyfriend eats everything in sight like he loves like Buffalo cauliflower pizza always less my vegan chili so he is very open to trying being in foods so that was always really nice and then in January 2018 he decided to go vegetarian again and now we’re living in the same place so it makes it a lot easier he’s been fully vegetarian since then and it’s good because then since he’s here I can make sure he has a lot of food that he likes and like hearty meals and you know he’s not just eating an apple for dinner so that is basically my experience so far like that’s kind of been like our little journey together a cool thing I guess about my relationship with my boyfriend is he loves animals like he’s always been a very big animal lover so he understands where I’m coming from with the veganism and obviously he did decide to go vegetarian so that’s like a very big step so we do have that common ground however obviously he’s still eating dairy eggs and I’m not so it’s kind of cool because it kind of challenges both of us to listen to the other one and here we have to say and let’s say he goes I saw like why eggs are good for us and then I could say well I saw YX are bad for us and it kind of challenges us to listen to the other person broaden your horizons and also just like gain more knowledge which i think is really important in a relationship I think it’s really important to challenge each other and it pushes me to learn more about being a vegan and it pushes him to listen to me it pushes me to listen to him and you know it provides a nice way for us to have a good conversation it’s definitely been very interesting obviously the longer I’m vegan the more passionate I am about these feelings but like I said nobody pushed veganism on me so I’m not going to push it on him if he eventually turns vegan that’s amazing but I want him to do it in his own way in his own time just like I did it in my own way in my own time are going to be people who disagree with me and they would rather their partner be vegan and that’s totally fine that’s why we all get to have our own relationships and choose who we want to be with if I were single now I don’t know if I would still want to be with someone who is vegan because I remember when I was single like two years ago and I was dating around I lived in New York City at the time I was going on a million dates with a million kinds of guys and just surveying the whole lot if you will um I have some really good dating stories if you guys ever want to hear them and I found it so hard to just find somebody who just like wanted to be in a relationship right like at that point I was like I just want to find somebody who wants to hang out with me for like a month you know what I mean and just finding somebody like that was hard enough as it was let alone finding somebody who was genuine who was honest she was hard-working who was you know a good person inside all those things I didn’t like them being vegan on top of it would just be kind of another requirement and if you’re single you know probably how hard it is to date you know it’s hard to find somebody who you feel like very comfortable with and who you can’t feel like you could see a very big future with and all those things and it takes a while to find them and I just feel like potentially adding veganism as another requirement or not a requirement but you know something I’m looking for could be hard that’s not to say you should sell yourself short but I just think potentially if I were single again and I was vegan and I met Ferdie I don’t think him not being vegan would have pushed me away from him if that makes sense and the only reason I’m telling you guys this is because I know like a lot of people are single and let’s say you’re dating and one of your big requirements is you want this person to be vegan right but then you meet this amazing person and they’re nice and they’re kind and they’re funny and they’re hard-working and they’re generous and they’re you know they’re everything you’re looking for except that they aren’t vegan I mean of course it’s your decision it’s your relationship but I would say maybe try to keep an open mind maybe they’ll be open to veganism maybe they’ve never been exposed to it before and you can I’m not telling you to change someone but like I said like you can expose them to new things take them to vegan restaurants you know think like that and maybe they’ll be really open to it and maybe they’ll change like a lot of vegan non vegan couples who date and then the non vegan person ends up going vegan just because they’re exposed to it and then they think it’s really cool to you got to keep an open mind and not think just because somebody isn’t vegan that they’re not a good person so two questions that I got asked by you guys were what am I gonna do if I have kids well we’ve talked about a little bit but we kind of never really come to a conclusion and we’re so far off from having children like that is so far in the future that I’m just kind of gonna let time take its course and when that time comes I’ll figure it out when I first went vegan my thoughts as opposed to now two years being vegan are completely different I have completely different opinions completely different standpoints so time changes everything don’t have these kids yet obviously I’m not even close to having kids yet so I don’t want to like think about that if that is the thing that is super important to you then do you make sure to talk to your partner about it make sure that you guys are on the same page but like I said time changes everything and who knows what I’ll want in three to five years the other question I got asked is how can I stand it when he eats meat and dairy well obviously doesn’t eat meat now but how could I stand it when he ate meat I’m the only vegan I know I don’t know any other vegans so I’m surrounded by meat and dairy and eggs and all that stuff all the time so it doesn’t really bother me I grew up eating that my whole life I’ve only been vegan for two years and I’m 25 years old so yes I don’t particularly like to be around it but it doesn’t entirely bother me either yes the smell is different now it is funny how my nose has changed and how ground beef smells like death now yeah it doesn’t really bother me because I’m surrounded by it all the time however I guess I could see if you live alone and you’re vegan and you have a lot of vegan friends then yes maybe having a partner who isn’t vegan and I’m eating that kind of stuff around you would potentially bother you overall the thing that I hope you guys take away from this video is that if you have a supportive loving partner significant other person you know whatever don’t push them away because they’re not vegan I think that would be a really really big mistake like I could not imagine my life without my boyfriend and had I been like oh well mmm because I’m gonna go vegan and he’s not vegan we can’t date anymore I would have made a really big mistake he is too good of a person to pass up all just because he isn’t vegan and like I tell you guys with anything and like if you’ve watched my other videos if the person is supportive of you if they’re willing to try new things for you if they’re trying to you know make the effort for you give them that benefit you know don’t push them away don’t make them feel like their efforts aren’t good enough the one thing I will say I guess to play devil’s advocate yes if you find yourself in a situation where your partner is not supportive where they are making fun of you where they are not really getting it and its really bothering you then yes break up with them because they’re usually not supportive than in other aspects of your life I’ve said that before if someone doesn’t support you in one aspect of your life and they’re probably not supportive you in other aspects of your life and you should probably move on and get rid of them get rid of the toxicity I hope you guys enjoyed this video I know it was kind of a mishmash of a video and it was like all over the place but I hope it helps you to open your eyes a little bit see a little bit more what it’s like to date a non-vegan and that it’s not so bad and yeah I’ll see you guys in my next video please make sure to LIKE um and subscribe all that good stuff if you enjoyed the video and go watch some more videos right now I’ll see you guys in my next one bye

Vegan Dating + Long Distance Relationships

I always have to make things food so me and Jasmine have been dating for a year and a half and I thought I’d make a video about vegan dating long-distance relationships stuff like that and just our general advice on how other vegans can meet up and you know issues with long-distance relationships so yeah we’ve been dating for a year and a half and how did we meet yeah so we met on Facebook Jasmin messaged me first and yeah he just basically said he wanted to be friends get to know me and stuff and she was a PC gamer too just like me she’s into different games but you know we had common interests and pretty quickly you know just got serious we fell in love and I wanted to just be like girlfriend boyfriend at first and you know it’s kind of weird to have a long-distance relationship but you know I really liked you and thought it was worth it just coming I don’t know just somebody from Canada somebody from Belgium sometimes it’s just difficult to work out you know yeah maybe not I’m weird though yeah so I thought it was worth getting emotionally invested in her because she seemed really nice and you know with my type of occupation it was pretty easy to just fly out there and at least meet you and actually before we even did that I told her that I love you I was the first one who said that yeah yeah and things you know things got pretty serious pretty quickly awkward you are talking about this yeah yeah things got pretty serious pretty quickly and we ended up meeting in person back in April only a few months ago really and yeah meeting her first in person just felt right didn’t seem weird at all like I know some people who meet online they don’t have anything to say and just the whole you know dynamic of the relationship totally changes but me and her really got along and and then I’m here again came wet in July middle of July and staying here for three months and me and her actually planning on getting married that’s a crazy though yes without the cream yes so I guess let’s start talking about the long-distance relationship thing first because I guess that’s a big thing for a lot of vegans because we’re sort of few and far between so long-distance relationships I guess some of the difficulties we’ve had it’s just really hard only talking on like Facebook and Skype and it can get just it hurts sometimes like right deep in your chest that you know I’m together you know and I guess you kind of have to decide for yourself if the person’s worth that kind of pain in the long run yeah and Jasmine’s definitely worth it now we’re finally together after how long did it take for me to actually see you in person here yeah we were like apart for a year until we actually met each other in person but in some ways it can kind of be good because all you can really do is talk and you get to know somebody pretty well in a long-distance relationship yeah yeah I guess one of the issues is like trust issues because we’ve kind of had that and you know I think you the writer depends on the person the history yeah yeah that did you have not having any trust in anyone it’s very difficult right right you have to have a little bit of trust in the other person and they have to trust you too for it to kind of work out if you think the other person’s gonna like fool around with other girls or guys and cheat on you while you’re apart then you know it might it probably won’t work out if there isn’t really any trust so you know if you’re a fairly trusting person people do have to earn trust though too so and you know all you can really do is talk to them kind of get a good feeling about them and kind of trust your own intuition on things and worked out for us and other problems you think mostly Renner family members of friends trying to tear you apart yeah yeah interests were just talking shit regular person without knowing them at all yeah Jasmine’s sister said some things about me trying to convince her not to be in a relationship with me and my mom did that a lot as well saying it’s totally not worth it you can date other girls in Toronto and I just never let that get to me because I knew jasmine was really special and she was worth meeting so that was never a problem for me so yeah I guess just deciding on whether or not that particular person is really worth the pain of just not seeing them for quite some time getting over family members friends kind of not agreeing with it or giving you trouble and working out some trust issues that’s just the biggest considerations in the long-term relationship yeah I make a very good living and just my job gives me so much mobility and that’s another consideration that somebody else might have to have – yeah yeah so you know maybe you’d have to find another job in an entirely different country because you know Canada Belgium it’s not even you know we’re not even in the same country so someone one of you might have to support the other for quite some time so that might be another issue for you but luckily we didn’t have that problem shut up and the next part of course since were vegan I thought we talked about vegan dating and there’s issues with that because vegans are few and far between I guess I guess the first biggest issue is deciding whether or not it’s actually worth dating another vegan because it’s hard kind of finding each other like for me there’s no way I could be a date a meat eater I just can’t handle it at this point what about you right no people have like the mindset if they can change and go vegan but right so much stress yeah especially initially getting already like it’s not a healthy start a relationship yeah and I like for me it would give me serious trust issues because like you know you can’t expect somebody to just go vegan straight away just because you’re vegan and you’re in a relationship so you’d expect them to like cheat on their diet and then that would give you trust issues like some people just go vegan yeah some people do and some people just take a year but I wouldn’t yeah I I wouldn’t be able to do that yeah oh just grossed me out kissing somebody who just had like meat or cheese or dairy yeah so and then again you might have to go the long distance route if you’re dating another vegan if there just happens to be no vegans in your area other than that like other than the internet a very good place to meet other vegans would be at animal activist events in Toronto there’s the Toronto Pig save and direct action everywhere those are the two big groups I know of and there’s also like vegan meetups that I’m involved in like potlucks and stuff and you can meet quite a lot of guys and girls in there there’s a pretty diverse group but um yeah you just might have to go the internet route and the internet route isn’t always a long-distance thing it might be pretty close I know some vegans are kind of socially awkward and not very open in public thank you like me yeah yeah you’re actually worse No you just pretend and not hate people but deep down inside so I’m social and I’m fluent and that’s something you’re not at all I can make conversation and you get I can talk good all you do is response and he doesn’t make conversation out of your own separate friends basically yes so meeting people on the internet isn’t really a bad route and the benefit with internet dating not necessarily even going to an internet website just going on like some vegan forum and you know you can meet somebody who you already know is vegan and even if you go on a dating website you already know their interests whether or not they’re vegan so you can spare yourself the issue of actually going outside dating somebody figuring out their interest and then you know wasting tons of time and even money figuring out if you’re at all compatible in any way so you know going to a dating website figuring out of somebody’s vegan and if they’re into some similar stuff like you it’s also a good round Facebook though yeah yeah Facebook we met on Facebook it works you know good relationships start on Facebook or other social media sites yeah yeah just becomes what you make out of it I guess yeah don’t count count out a relationship just because you met on the internet it it works we met we get along really well and it’s planning on making it very long-term so I’m not making a face I don’t need to fart I farted like before I came in here I no I don’t think so [Laughter] those are tips for vegan dating in long-distance dating and relationships it’s kind of well yeah we sort of dead oh yeah I go online for dating whoo shut up so those are our experiences with vegan dating in long-distance relationships and some of our own tips and hopefully some of you found that helpful and of course keep making those vegan relationship gains are you doubting let us begin now with the Tao the way it gets to your plate

eTalks – The Secrets of Food Marketing

eTalks
我使用創新的話術 回到我們在 porkcare.org(豬肉照護網)的老朋友

Vegans Louise and Frank – Vegan business owners band members & created World Vegan Day

Highways and high five all right but we’re here about the Cabaret which is the cowboy at calomel so how did you like get into creating a vegan cafe gallery event space anymore things add to that well it was all quite random really we always kind of had a dream about some kind of dream that we did reality and then it would have been about a year and a half ago maybe a bit longer I just saw a random sort of facebook post about this particular venue and that possibility of taking over and running into the restaurant like way because we it’s all our daughter very close to you and we knew this space so I just leave trying to believe what I just don’t see it on Facebook and we used to have a chat about it long and hard about it decided we should give it a go because we didn’t at least new order for my situation here to compete against other people happy one I what’s the best event are like program you put on I what’s the thing like you remembered and on our that’s so cool that’s made my day however i think when we’ve had really good bands so we know for us to hear is to burn a couple of times we’ve been heading up to that it would be round I think we did reach the two big on over irrigation and I felt that’s a good number you can still move around is not too jammed you can see the bound in comfort oh yeah a good band lots of people reserves hmm as we got into this staff interested in the arts in as well the selection of staff you lied so let me get something right one of my favorite Oh and she’s she’s great I think she just touch with our it already in to eat her and so she kind of me oh good and raise some money you know as well that was really popular event very committed we had Tom Robinson come and play here who’s who had some big hits in some teas and 80s but it continues to be a BBC Radio 6 DJ uncle and he’s really well known for having glad to be gay and he did a version of that song adopted at one point which is really funny things that because everyone was a bit hesitant about singing because it has yeah and he was like hold on it’s okay you don’t have to be getting to sing this song here everyone and then after that everyone sort of thank you and actually it was really young it’s quite moving actually I found it please you create the world vegan day so how did you come about creating that and what are the achievements you’ve had from it okay well well big day when I was president and we were in the lead up to the Society’s 50th thinking about how to celebrate this amazing occasionally and already have one more I’d already have one idea which is to create a fill and then I’m current exactly remember how the ideas that came into my mind Wow why don’t we created died and so that was much easier than making the film because that was really just a matter of announcing it but when I thought about it was really to commemorate when the society would start it started by very small number of people who have this crazy idea that you could live without essentially live without exploiting animals and at that time which is in 1944 sightings found people literally thought we would die bad enough that you vegetarian now we all know clearly different actually you’re healthier as a beacon who you know you’re gonna Diagne be much healthier but at that time I just thought I find it incredible that those people at the beginning had this idea separately around the country came together as community for the day each other decided to found the society an into doing the war Second World War he’s in line when food was being rationed food was already severely restricted at that time and I’m just so inspired by these people and I felt they deserved to be remembered each year in fact that those people founded the society all those years ago so when we founded well-being well being in day we decided it would be the first of novo the exact date okay about so it was started in 1994 it’s amazing now it’s all over the world people do all kinds of and it just still serves as an opportunity to take the idea how to other people or to simply celebrate it and it’s you know it’s Damon people I think just celebrate create conditions that but you mentioned the film that you created so what was a film about well it was created by four of us really running drugs in in real life you’d be like but that was the first major undertaking actress but that at that time we were ye we were pleased to have the presenter Benjamins great British poet represent and we made a 25-minute promotional film about veganism that was well received I’m still proud of that work which you can see on youtube and yeah the film I’m really proud of go on it’s called truth or dare so lots of people want to start being businesses so do you have any tips for them the starting their own well because it happened to us by accident I just say really I mean we’ve been doing this for just over a year now if you want to get into the restaurant business the best and the key is really to get a good team you enter into this type of business what you need to and to be my advice is to be very determined set your goal and go for it if you make a mistake don’t worry we all do with their mistakes I made loads of the state’s every day and I try to learn from the run be a better person be tolerant of people some people like myself see a vegan argument and change very quickly other people they take but everybody is a potential video so be tolerant of people business other side so ten years to finally get it of you like leaving for life so you have been in a bun so as the band called and what’s it like traveling and playing music and well I think there’s nothing beats being on stage playing your own music in my experience so those of the highlights of my life are being the moment when you’re on stage playing us or moving beats my experience the band ring is calling this frenzy which we lazy about putting music out where we do have a small record deal most about next year do you drop in veganism in your music I think somebody asked you this before about I would say to us but it’s actually I think it’s really difficult songs can below nice but so we have sort of we did earn some gone on our album which is a little violence which cool it’s actually an ex somebody used to play these total king two gave it up because he couldn’t relating children into so that song which is kind of related he was the first he was an actor he changed his mind basically and regretted doing is instead a very powerful thing which is why he used the sample and then I wrote the music around that fitted in with the concept of the album which was an examination of violence what I put over the top of Everest sometimes quite shocking statements from people for examples of moments when they’ve been involved in a violent situation or contributed to violence in this case Ronald McDonald contributed and then become a reformed character i would say stay away from its own writers i find it a bit cringing it’s you’ve got to be very clever to pull it off in a way but other I recognize other people like in small but I have to jump in here and remember that i did do I’ve done a couple of league in field DJ mixes which is a collection of tracks some of them by very well known pretty much i buy very big all students a lot more than I ever thought that was it took me ages reserved so some of there are some really good it’s a great one quiet I goons that figure I did find a lot really do examples might be Dina by the youtube com vegan okay so in my case I have got involved with my local animal rights group in Southampton and I was already vegetarian although I didn’t stay vegetarian for very long because I met some vegans who were in a another animal rights group that was down the road and I came across a vegan society leaflet read it and I just connected immediately with the leaflet the argument like leaflet just very simply made the case for veganism and just like if I recognized immediately thought by the vegan mmm maybe not sort of conscious quite consciously in that way but my totally connected little got it I suppose and then basically I decided with my boyfriend at that time I think maybe we were both living at home or something so we decided to book ourselves a holiday in Jersey go away from here before decided to be season so then we both look begin at that time I was the age of 18 and even really met anyone who was vegetarian but I traveled to Europe I wanted to sort of broaden my horizons on a coached Greece somebody gave me Buddhism well vegetarianism was discussed and when I came back to make moment its soda seed in my mind because I didn’t want to be I realized I wouldn’t want to do that myself for me as well I just wanted to opt out of all that and then about a week later I’ve to go veggie I was in a Holland America parents store in southport and the first edition of the new revamped vegan magazine had come out I happen to see that I open it up when I read the definition I thought actually that makes more sense to me sort of bored out of a live-and-let-live attitude adding one of involved please do you have any tips for people that want to go vegan well I think I really enjoyed it you know it’s presented as you’re giving up something that you’re gonna miss I never missed eating meat or cheese or dairy once I found suitable alternatives the whole world of food opened up for me better healthier I declare a conscience i’m just literally recommend the thing is it’s enjoyable you know you’re not denying yourself something whole different way of living now is the time to go vegan because it seems that it’s really exploded in school now has been in the media but in my experience I will say it is the set maybe not the best decision I’ve made in my life that’s certainly one of the imagine not being thing just say it really contributes to the right thing but it’s the nature of the food itself as well it has so many positive effects on body or mental health emotions and it’s just a more enjoyable really like honest it’s more than that so much go to be I think as I ever not yeah I mean for the future the planets as well aware that fifty percent of greenhouse gas is actually generated from animal agriculture everybody’s we want to save the planet sometimes a lot of let’s go to be 10 billion season in this century a lot of people a book to start eating a hell of a lot more food you can see the beginning of that happening now I think I know it’s more related the future with mass migration because and that’s already it’s all there it’s also a resource we do start making changes and taken on radical ideas like a vegan future the planet will be destroyed by who hmm and append them vation because too many aspects of the planet and it’s all good year round so thank you good you’ll end up XP be coming for a professional a very good start yeah

DOMINICK THOMPSON interview / Tulum Vegan Festival

I’m Dominic Thompson most people know me as Dom’s Thompson Hilma animal rights activist a social entrepreneur I have one of the largest vegan quality companies crazies and weirdos crazies and weirdos you can zoom in on that right there we’re based out in New York our clothes yes this is make or recycle plastic bottles and are getting tired yes our kitchens vegan now you can fill it house off please I’m just feeling your muscles so our clothes are super sis what shot free we could probably say that they’re handmade in New York as well again from recycled plastic bottles other recycled materials organic cotton source from North Carolina it’s a beautiful cut suit yes a lot of t-shirts don’t really yeah we really pride ourselves on that we really do really pride myself on that so yeah and I’m also a multi-sport athlete which is to be translated triathlete I defy looking I do a little bit of boxing you know the all of that type of stuff so yeah so when you run one of those people you never see what they can’t be a jack of all trades and be a must you have to be a master one one yeah you can’t be a jack of all trades is like enjoying that myth no yeah and not just me a lot of people that do triathlons and I think that’s because we said once you do master it a lot of this stuff comes natural to me I’ve always been like a natural athlete but you can never go sit let’s go play travel yeah I get going to gym and outlook for most guys and stuff um naturally that strong because and you add the fact that my plant-based die makes me even stronger but I can’t master triathlon so I’m constantly chasing my own personal goal and my own personal PRS and it’s just so rewarding physically to really put your body through anywhere between a Olympic 25 mile er style type drop onto the hunt in a 40-mile type of Armand yeah I know for myself when I first went me you know I was lifting heavier my recovery time was a lot faster and I was just surprising myself I never loved loved running and all of a sudden I was doing half marathons and one is addicted it’s so addictive I encourage everyone to run look anyway I’m not gonna say I’m not a gym rat that’s a totally different type of an athlete I really encourage you to get out of that gym and I also brings me to that’s a good segue to I want you all to realize too just because someone is a aesthetic looking doesn’t mean that they’re really healthy or functional so just think about that most of these people men and women that look aesthetic they might be pulled on Petes and steroids and other drugs and supplements but they can go out here to run them out they might collapse and that’s not the shame but I’m just saying just really be careful what you buy it to and what you believe it’s you and saying all I have to say is the plant-based way of living it’s the best way with respect to your body and also get out there and run to leave that gym gym it’s great we get out there what was the biggest difference for you after going vegan what was what did you it was the biggest difference that you’ve got nobody yeah my body transformed so I went plant base 16 years ago when I was incarcerated in prison okay yeah yeah and so in there I was about 256 260 pounds and I dropped all the way down to about 187 solid muscle and I was I couldn’t split but I went vegan for the animals for to reset it just this is myself as far as away from any harm so I went plant-based specifically not indeed but plant-based food on say plant-based within prison I had like a 75% vegan diet and 25% octo wish vegetarian dairy and action without whatever they served in this in the system I would eat that but I didn’t know what I knew about the dairy industry i thought i was known animals but vegetarian but i just i was ignorant to know not what was happening there we didn’t we didn’t have the doms of the world we don’t have the what the hell’s in the world we have none of that information 16 yeah we didn’t have social media 16 years ago so the dairy industry I didn’t think was a bad thing I just I just thought the animals like everybody else I’ve been ignorant it’s living on the green land for our dairy and that’s okay and then when I got out the Cisco was able to educate myself that’s nice flip that switch what the fuck Here I am being a vegetarian thing I’m feeling good but they’re raping the cows taking the cab’s away to milk cows away from building industry it’s horrible what they’re going close to three years so you went vegan when you were in prison flat base that’s not completely being I was vegetarian in there yeah yeah but I limited meat directly yeah eliminate meat in prison yeah it’s not one of my recent interview you guys want me to check out the full story check out retro my podcast is up on his it’s one of the top downloads download the podcast is if you guys really want to take the time for two hours just listen to it my entire stores on there what do you want do know kit what’s up what up this is chatting tutorial we just wait what’s your advice if you were to get out of the matrix to get out of the matrix I mean I think in general is probably hard to even get those he even think about that question if you think about I think the real question is what’s the best way for us that’s out of the matrix or out of that community to get other people out of that community those people if you think about it they aren’t really tuned into that type of lifestyle and I think we have to be continued to be walking billboards be assertive and have some empathy that we all been there most of us get our plant-based vegan oh we used to eat meat so we shouldn’t be shaming per se but just educating assertively using yeah for sure so there’s one thing to be a vegan it’s another thing to be a vegan activist absolutely she’s a whole nother level garage I just make feel having gone through first to myself it’s an obligation as a vegan to do that to share the message and to help others and I feel the same way to it because if you think about the history of veganism historically it’s based off the main principles it’s really about compassion animals animal rights just a peaceful lifestyle Pacific everything goes for us here here the ridiculous amount of fillings you filled with respect to your help improving and if good things you don’t for the environment is all bonus sure okay what made you become an activist at the focusing vegan bit of a step up from being a vegan sounds like you’re an activist first I was respect to that’s how that’s what I was known for that’s what happened people so six seven years ago when social media first came out with respecting Instagram a buddy of mine said yo man you should get on Instagram and stop posting your workouts and do all of this and I was ignorant about Instagram I don’t know I was like one of the first people to go on there and I’ve seen all right oh that’s pretty cool but I used it right in and there not only to post my workouts but also to talk by animal rights since day one and that’s how my account through organically out here I love this man of color african-american vegan I wasn’t then I wasn’t the stereotype of what you think of vegan Mel is a pale middle-aged white guy and Here I am I guess that men of color thought of my animal rights and I’m pretty thick I’m not a small guy and Here I am doing endurance races and lifting heavy heavy is luck if you guys don’t follow me and you see how heavy I can look you can’t see you fuck yeah bitching squad and all that you know I never reported it I never recorded it you know but I got out too yeah I did over 400 before ripping at 325 like it’s nothing I think though yeah and then I I did did it I did a 225 for life I didn’t count that one down NFL Combine style I did over like I did like over 40 reps yeah yeah yeah it was I could have kept going I was like fuck I’m doing this without any stops so yeah yeah but yeah yeah sure but even as a kid when I was eight years old I used to push back to my mom she was serving chicken wings and I fell like those little bitty arms that’s like I don’t want this shit it may hurts the fight we used to fight and that’s hard to tell a single mother I grew up without a father single mother that worked three jobs as a nurse you don’t want her food and we was already poured there was but she got smart she introduced me to fish she did have fish dicks all the time and chicken breast solos it was hitting the cartilage and the bones I was okay and then that’s when I made that reconnection in prison had that flashback like trying to figure out why the university has me here and that’s when I’m president I said I got a distance myself it specifically cool all evil from what I used to do which was drug dealing to consuming poison and stuff like that so yeah but just to go back to your question so that’s that’s not my account grew organically because I was just totally opposite of what you see everything Amell was and I’m happy to say I’m one original Trailblazers that started at movement so now you have a lot of men and when they’re both under my impact of it yeah thank you for everything that you’ve done thank you so much for me I don’t see it was just a vegan or an athlete I was as you were talking you’re like this these Trailblazers but more of an angel miscue thank you so much yeah you’re just transformation transformative we all are and that’s what I want to encourage everyone out there you know we can’t I can’t do it alone you guys can’t do it alone you know take your counts off a private go public use those hashtags because you never know that piece of MIL whether you cook in tacos or lasagna it might look a lot better than me you’re talking on those on your presentation and it might be a friend of your your community or someone that’s fallen you check out that hashtag bye wow I could give this a go that looks pretty good so this thing about that you know photos are very powerful one meal can make a difference one plate friends if we can get one person to go vegan because it’s your account or my account we do our job yes and always push your body even your buddy yes push it to the limit there are no Dara Dara well there are certain limits but yes she’s right push it push it push it push and that’s why I tell you guys to get out the gym everyone it’s millions and millions of people in the gym there not everyone’s out in that role running or biking what’s more amazing you are thank you so much for having me appreciate it thank you thank you thank you

Mental disability, Eugenics, and Vegan Politics.

So I just mentioned in my girlfriend that some people including Peter singer openly say they draw an ethical line and they say if human cognition is below this line human cognitive ability human intelligence below this line then human beings can be killed or eliminated why did this come up because we’re talking about veganism in case you think we only talk about veganism on the Internet and I was pointing out that there are people who basically feel that some animals should have animal rights that’s very common it’s very calm there are people who feel that monkeys should have animal rights but not cockroaches there are people who feel dolphins should have animal rights but not goldfish there are a lot of people for the way that there’s some line where it’s like above a certain level of intelligence animals get special privileges and below that they don’t so you asked me yeah I think you just said how do you feel about that you know that humans below a certain level of intelligence right it’s okay to murder them so keeping it all the way real which is my which is my steez you know I have a brother I have a brother who has never spoken a sentence in any language he is so severely retarded he is so severely mentally incapable I’m told he can eat and you know obviously other people have to feed him he’s never had a job sir he’s only I haven’t which was a big controversy in my family it was a huge source of tension between me and my father was why did you never bring me to visit him why did my father himself never visit this brother and why was this brother’s existence kept secret from me until I was in my like mid-20s it was a big it was a big big moral thing because you get on I’m really into just doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do like if you got this son I’m sure like based on what I’ve been told he may not appreciate you visiting him like I think he’s so mentally incapacitated I think my fault this is part of what my father said my father said that he didn’t like being visited that that maybe triple you know the might not appreciate you coming around and talk to him you may not understand a word you’re saying but I do think in terms of duty and honor you know what I don’t know minimum once a year you got to go and visit your own son I’m you know twice a year like I’m not it like you know okay you’re not gonna go every week to talk to somebody who’s not even capable of maybe recognizing you or appreciating your being there you know like I understand you know I can understand that but anyway so in my own family one of my own brothers a guy with a lot of the same DNA as me has so little mental capacity that to what I’ve been told by his by his sister who’s also my sister in case you haven’t guessed yah is that uh but you know one of his sisters fascist mentality has never spoken a word in any language he’s never spoken a sentence you know he can’t he’s severely obviously you know there are animals that have speech they’re animals they have a that have sentences and have complex speech and speak ideas so you know this is if we’re actually playing this game than my own brother that would be a big question yes so who were you’re saying who are you saying it has that opinion someone in the animal rights yes if Peter singers could fit the most farmers and and to my knowledge and unless a natural vegan wants to come out and clear her name she used to you know support Peter singers vision which you’ve recently brought up and I’m not gonna demonize these people they’re a position I disagree with their position but it’s coherent it makes sense like just really briefly but the same thing within within Buddhism generally Buddhists feel that the more an animal resembles human beings the more it has human rights you know I mean so wouldest Street monkeys and elephants your elephants are quite at quite a high level and very often Buddhists will say they don’t give a damn about fish that fish just don’t count now I you know I’m not gonna demonize their normal people you know I mean these are these are most of them are good people some of them are terrible people whatever you know I mean like people live with that that’s a mainstream ethical belief you know I’m not gonna demonize that that’s I mean that’s important to say even because remember I’ve dealt with really extreme politics here in China we’re surrounded by people who are members of the Communist Party and you tell their own children that the mass murder of millions of people was okay under you know the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution and that’s normal here in China and you got to deal with that face to face I mean you can live in a country that’s full of people who support what the Catholic Church did when the Catholic Church killed millions of people these are mainstream beliefs even if they’re wrong you have to be or even if I personally think they’re wrong you know it’s not I can it’s all I can show you some simple factual proof that they’re that I’m right they’re wrong I can just talk through why I see these things the way they do but it’s so silly your question so where where do I stand on that issue now I just respond to say look let’s raise the stakes let’s talk about my own brother let’s put a human face on it right now why is my brother alive given that he was less abandoned by his own father because the Canadian taxpayer we have a system in Canada which is why the streets of Canada are not filled with mentally impaired beckers which they are in some countries like Laos like in Laos you get a sense of how many retarded people there are because you see them on the street and in Canada you don’t you know in in Cambodia get a sense of how many physical cripples there are the people with one leg because you see them on the street you know I mean in Canada we have a wealthy enough country to support an army of mentally disabled people I think the ethical decision you’re making is fundamentally very different in Canada than it is in Laos or Cambodia that is my honest answer you know what I mean I don’t think every country has the luxury the candidate has now I think in a country again I think it should be democratic and I think it should be transparent you know I don’t think it should be in a black box of issues nobody’s allowed to debate but I do think generally speaking in a country like Canada if you have that debate you’re gonna make rational reasonable choices I mean you give an example one of the issues is so if you have these people who are severely mentally disabled probably you cannot take care of them close to the home of their own parents probably do it decentralizes so maybe in every province you have one or two centers of special care for severely disabled people and then if when the parents want to visit or though other relatives or friends want to visit they have to drive a long way because Canada is a really big country now the Netherlands doesn’t have that problem Denmark doesn’t no offence Netherlands is just not that big but in Canada you could have people who are separated from their children if they if they sign them up for this kind of care but long as it is that is that is a rational budgetary problem where you say well we can’t have five hundred centres don’t the disabled maybe you can maybe you can have five hundred but you can’t have 600 whatever the number is you know you’ve got to make responsible decisions of that also to be a democratic way I mean can I was mentioned you we still have controversies about women getting breast augmentation getting you know silicone breast implants paid for by tax payers part of democracy is drawing quite a bit like for psychological reasons because their psychiatrist fills it a form saying it’ll help raise her self-esteem this kind of thing and getting it paid for by taxpayers now you know different people draw the line at different places but sure I mean so you know part of my answer is I’m actually comfortable with dealing with those questions in a democratic way democracy is not perfect there are lots of examples of issues democracies can’t deal with and deal with really really badly you know John Stuart Mill his big concern was about the majority ruthlessly oppressing the minority and that is a problem when you look at today we’re just looking at Iraq when you look at countries where the majority of people may be Muslim the majority people may be Muslim fundamentalist what kind of government what quality of governance are they going to provide for atheists for Christians for Jews for other minorities I mean in Iraq there was the case of the Yazidis another heart to define religious and ethnic minority within Iraq there are problems with the majority both minority but it’s an interesting counterpoint to note that a lot of the time you have a totally helpless minority of people like mentally disabled people they have no ability to form a union or have lawyers you don’t whoa bargaining on their behalf or something they have no ability to equal the lobby government or play the games other vocal noorie’s my too but I can really give credit democracy is good at some things bad at others the sewage treatment democracy does not handle super very well you know you can make an argument that maybe dictatorships are better at dealing with sewage treatment you know it is funny the way those things go but you know I think that’s actually a very positive thing and can done other other wealthy western counties are positive example that do I think though I mean what I’ve lived in Laos I’ve lived in Cambodia I’ve been involved you know in my small way and humanitarian work in politics and everything there and those are very different art decisions you have to make and you know I have a remember saw one documentary about dealing with mentally disabled in insane people people quite likely had schizophrenia in some poverty-stricken areas of Africa I remember a documentary that looked at it and you know then you couldn’t you get into very different very hard questions yeah yeah that’s your question yeah yeah I think it’s just a case-by-case basis like what exactly the disability level is right yeah I mean it is good that in civilized society is like in Canada you get you can pay for the treatment of these people for their whole lives but that’s what we do yep and and somebody has to draw the line to Mona to somebody else to said how are you actually gonna deliver those services and but I just mentioned my approach here again is not a rights-based approach you know my approach I think a credit come I would say it’s just deontological the question is what can we do for them how are we gonna decide to do what we’re gonna do for them and you know how do we but it’s just about an ethic of care and the most fundamental idea here is doing the best you can and recognizing that in a third-world poverty stricken post world country like Laos the answer of doing the best you can may be may be totally different I read I don’t know if ever mention this to you there was a heartrending account of a young girl who was sold into sex slavery in Laos and came back with her mind completely broken and the conditions that were described that she was living in F XI was returned to her family her family had had a wooden addict probably the house was wood you know I can I can imagine ever living allows the type of house this was so in the upper story they chained her to the wooden post that supported the the wall and what this article described was all day you know with no particular sleeping schedule she would alternate between lying on the floor sleeping passed out curled up in the fetal position screaming and shakin constantly screaming and shaking and running in a straight line you know bovis is pulling on her chain but running as if trying to escape that was how she responded to the experience of being sold into sex slavery and obviously rape repeatedly what have you and the other thing that’s that’s eerie about this if you’ve ever done research on this this area you can interview not dozens but hundreds of young women who went into prostitution at the same age under the same conditions and who even worked with the same pimps because the same pimps work with how do at the same brothel you know what I mean and didn’t respond to the experience in that way at all you know but this this young woman totally mentally collapsed and the question was what can we as lotion society zap our researcher what can we do for this young woman keeping her chained to a wall chained to a post this is not a great solution putting her into a hospital in Laos may be worse let me say if you go to the hospital you know I mean like it’s not I mean what what can we do with cases of extreme mental disability or extreme trauma or extreme insanity mental incapacity without you those are those are really hard questions and I don’t think the Communist Party allows answers but it’s a part of the role of democracy again I don’t see this in a human rights perspective I see it in okay so you have the demos come together and trying to make sober decisions of okay what is the best we can do how we how are we gonna do this and you know in Canada we do have some very generous programs you can see programs about disabled people playing ice hockey you know getting disabled people out and plague them on the ice and you know they can’t wear skates cuz they’ll get you know that’s too dangerous but you know where you give them special shoes and they can shuffle them out of the ice and you have a whole bunch of D poultry there are some there are some very generous things we can do but you know between that and you know actually having someone chained to a wall you know a metal and metal and wood and you know I mean obviously this whole conversation happens in the shadow of Adolf Hitler the reality is the the eugenic policies that they don’t feel they’re engaged in of you know actually exterminating mentally sable people there’s a very interesting history that how that how that came about how the decisions were made I think I think that was the sobering moment for Western civilization to look and say okay either we’re going down this eugenics path or you know or what what does it mean to take responsibility for the fact that in any given society a certain percentage of people are never going to be able to contribute there never be able to hold a job and pay taxes and we got to look at our amassed wealth as taxpayers and just ask ourselves what can we do for them expecting nothing in return and again to keep it all the way real you know there’s also a sense in which that’s not altruism because there’s a sense in which we don’t want to see those people on the street we don’t want to see them begging on the street corners and that is indeed partly for our sake not for their say well some do I mean some do I think I think you know a Peter Singer and someone that’s that’s a real question some do Peter Singer is Pro murder he says if you don’t reach a certain target oh I’m certain with my brother he would support murdering my brother yeah keeping it all the way real about us yeah

Date Night Makeup // Vegan & Cruelty-Free //

sorry I really dislike that voice that’s better okay hello everyone my name is Lisa I’m the bait vegan because that Vietnam Egan and today it’s gonna be a slightly different video because Valentine’s Day is coming up and I thought I’d show you how I do my makeup for Valentine’s Day with cruelty free and vegan makeup and I’m also partnering up with madam glam to give a little giveaway today this video isn’t sponsored but they did send me lipsticks and they want to give away some lipsticks to you guys so I love love love love love love their lipsticks like I don’t think you guys understand how much I love their lipsticks the only thing is I wish they had more colors but they’re not making any more colors than they have right now some of you might have seen the collab that I did with the coral channel where they DIY this whole lighting set up vanity type thing for me I’ll leave a link for the video in the corner I guess it’s the mirrors messing it it’s in one of the corners because I’m shooting a mirror so it’s like reversed but then it’s also it’s just very good I’m just very confused so yeah I’m gonna do my makeup for a typical like date night look let’s get into at my makeup so I’ve written down my skincare after I took a shower I showed off with some rose water toner and then I use this vitamin E essence from the body shop it feels kind of like tackier and like my skincare kind of sinks deeper into my skin afterwards and then for my mornings I also use this vitamin C constitutive serum and then this body shop the vitamin C glow protection first thing I’m gonna do is my eyebrows so I use the NYX precision brow pencil and I also use this mirror to like help me be closer cuz like this mirror is like nice and big but not close enough I gotta see the detail and also if you guys are wondering what the heck is going on with all these spots on my face I’ve been eating like crap lately of eating a lot of processed foods and oil and junk and not a lot of produce so and not drinking a lot a lot of water it’s just my skin but concealer will help about in a moment so time to do my eyebrows all right so then I feather it out with the back of the spoolie thing on the back of the eyebrow pencil thing really precise descriptions Lisa you’re doing great also if you’re wondering why I’m wearing like a headband it’s just to keep the whispies out of my out of my way this is like a Aluna headband that I got from my Sailor Moon convention cuz you know me I love Sailor Moon I showed you guys like kind of in my vanity here I have like a bunch of these like bento box sort of things I’m just gonna pull them out I’m not gonna go into this entire makeup collection this is Mike my lipstick hoard although I do have some concealers in here that don’t actually belong in here I’m not gonna go through all this today unless you guys want me to go through my entire lipstick collection but we’re just gonna like focus on one I’m actually gonna put on my face first things first concealer I discovered this cover FX concealer this is gonna come up in a wedding vlog soon ish it’s like probably gonna be in three wedding blogs so hopefully I’ll be a lot faster with the wedding vlog stuff soon so I’m just applying some concealer over my spots if I knew more about color theory I could color correct it but I don’t oh my acne now covered up I do have a concealer sponge but I haven’t washed it in a while so I’m not gonna use it maybe sees my finger so don’t mind me as I cut out my kids [Music] okay I still look a little bananas that’s okay this is just the bottom layer I don’t do the whole triangle lighting thing contour thing properly I don’t know I just like looks kind of crazy on me maybe if like I did it properly but like every time I do it I look like really cakey so I just don’t do it anyway that’s the base I’m going to use this probably a little too old when I resent pure second skin foundation this is like an oil-based one so like my skin you really likes this because my skin is like combo oily dry cuz sometimes my skin’s like super super super oily and then sometimes it’s super super super dry right now it’s kind of dry which is I’m not surprised based on all the acne that I’m having in the lack of water I’ve been drinking you know in light of that I think I’m gonna use my Beauty Blender and the oil based on me should probably have this like for two years maybe I don’t know it’s probably expired but because it’s not like a thing that I put on my face like it doesn’t like directly touch my face I’m not really worried about it being like full of bacteria you know I’m saying so I just did need a beauty [Music] I ended up moving a lot of my concealer off of my face with a Beauty Blender so I’m just gonna go back and put in some more it’ll look kind of ghostly right now but you know what that’s okay sorry cuz we started with some lip I’ll mark already but my lips are feeling kind of dry that’s just the David’s T lip balm yeah it’s actually a via game which is really cool and I just like the way it feels it like disappears not like immediately but like relatively quickly doesn’t like steak goopy on your lips okay foundation is done I’m gonna add some color back into my face this is the pixie bronzer in the shade summertime there’s not a lot of shades there picks you could definitely improve their shade range but you know this is drugstore stuff that I found that I was like hey I like this I just use a sigma extreme structure contour fo for brush and I know I decided to use that voice we’re just gonna roll with it and like my face is just really big so I’m just gonna add some to this side so there’s like some false shadow that’s little god that’s too much oh no oh no your girl messed up can you talk not a beauty guru bronzer applied I think I’m gonna go with the cream blush today but I also like this baked Milani blush that I have I have to I have Dulce pink and very I’m alright why am I saying it like this so I’m just gonna use this between the sheets super shock cheek from colour-pop this one’s actually probably my favorite blush I’m probably doing this so wrong no blush added I was actually studying like the way that Asian culture applies makeup and they like their blush placement is like so interesting I always do my makeup kind of more westernized because I’m Western but I want to like learn how to do it more Asian so I can look more aged in blush apply so I have this Carli bybel palette you guys have seen this before vegan cruelty free I’ve hit pan on one of the shades because I really like it but yeah I’m gonna use the rose gold one I’m going to use the high cheekbone highlighter fo3 brush by Sigma so I have this no filter setting powder from colour-pop it’s okay it’s the banana one I don’t like hate it I don’t love it so I’m just gonna put it underneath my eyes and just like set my whole face with it cuz I don’t know I don’t know what I’m doing the thing is I watch actual beauty gurus and like I see the technique that they apply their makeup and but then I’m like do I want to do that though like I know that’s the way you’re supposed to do it but sit now it’s time to do my eye makeup so I have this makeup geek palette that I like sort of filled out with a bunch of other stuff I have makeup geek pans in here but I also have some color pop pans in here as well these eight here or all makeup geek this one’s makeup geek and then this one’s makeup geek and then the rest geez for or color pop and this one’s color problem so these two blush pans are also makeup geek and then this one is color pop this is actually supposed to be a bronzer but when I got it it had like highlighter sort of like Sheen to it I don’t really love it so I just kind of have it but I don’t know what to do with it cuz it’s like it’s not really quite dark enough to be bronzer and it’s too dark to be a highlighter it’s just like really awkward so sometimes I use it on my eyes but I don’t know it’s just weird as you can tell I lean towards like purpley brownie blushy looking ilex I wish I could experiment more with other stuff but I just I don’t have the skills they just go it to fake sale this is probably like my favorite blush powder that was way too much Lisa so we’re just gonna you know what we’re just gonna blend this out because I went a little too – ham on that and I’m using this furless ppb one blending brush so I have one monolid and one double it’s this is a double it I this is the Monell it and I even if I apply the same amount of makeup to both it looks way different on be each eye so this one it looks like I applied a lot less and this one I went a little too high so I’m done messed up I got a I got a wipe away some of that you know then I’m gonna go in with a darker shade with my I don’t even know what this brush is called it’s like a it’s one from BH Cosmetics it says number six I don’t know what that means it’s just like an angled fluffy creasing brush I don’t know I’m not gonna go into cabin fever like my second favorite shade from the makeup geek palette I’m not gonna make that mistake again I’m also gonna get some on my bottom lash lid and then it looks a little crazy so I’m gonna blend down what looks alright probably right my makeup boys looks nicer with this eye the model lid just I never know how to actually put on makeup on it and then I have this like one patch of skin that just like absorbs color but then doesn’t blend out it’s just like if you like put anything on there it’s like hi I’m patchy I’m gonna add some eyeliner now this is the Stila of waterproof liquid eye thing oh I made mistake I think I just painted my eye nice there’s like a line from my eyeball up until my eyelid huh I think there’s just like a black line on my contact now I’m beautiful I kind of messed up the inside inner corner but you know what just like don’t look at it that’s gonna bother me actually so I’m going to choose my Marcel instant eye makeup remover I’m gonna try and fix that Marquart what a q-tip just take off the aisle in here that I messed up that looks slightly better okay eyeliner is like kind of fixed again with some double ended versus the monolid I have to put on like more makeup on this one to show up than this one and it’s trying to fill in that like one kind of bald patch that I wiped makeup off on and then I thought mascara so I have the legendary lashes a volume two mascara from Charlotte Tilbury and I really like this eyelash stuff mascara that’s what it’s called I don’t curl my eyelashes because I’m lazy and I wait for that to dry otherwise if I can link I scare everywhere now time for the lips have been really diggin lipstick lately for today I’m gonna use I don’t know which one I’m gonna use I’m gonna swatch them for you for funsies also so you can see how certain shades look on me so with the giveaway with madam glam they’re giving away one matte and one velvet though I have to Velvets to max so I can swatch them for you so I’ll do the velvet ones first the top one is velvet red queen fig and then conspiracy and then cherry wine I really like the matte ones the velvet ones they don’t stay on my lips quite as well they are bullet lipstick so like they’ll rub off they’re not like kiss proof or whatever like you’ll get transfer pretty much everywhere especially because sometimes I like to wear lip gloss on top of them so like it’s like extra transferee but that’s just me but I really like the darker like the more purpley shaded ones and like I thought I wouldn’t like the warmer shades because normally my skin doesn’t really go well with the warm shades but these ones are actually not too bad they’re not too orange so I really actually like all four colors so I think I might go for the cherry wine one that’s probably my favorite one out of the four every time I email them I like thank them to make more but they’re not making any other shades right now coz madam glam is like a nail polish company I have a bunch of their gel polishes because they’re cruelty free and vegan and I like the gel polishes better than a lot of like the regular nail polishes they’ve like stay on my nails a little a lot longer and I have one of those like UV light things cuz you know I’m Vietnamese and my family does nail stuff but I can do that another video if you guys want they actually sent me some nail polishes as well and they’re like different shades and I normally would have picked those are the lipsticks if you guys want to enter the giveaway all you have to do is subscribe to their Channel you might need to make your subscriptions like public so that they can check that you’ve actually subscribed for they the giveaway and yeah list out the two sheets that you would like if you won the giveaway I really love the packaging on these lipsticks too they’re just like super satisfying and like luxurious bullet lipstick things if that makes any sense I just like it like feel so like luxurious it anyway so I’m going to use this color pop and lippie pencil in the shade oh I say puts on like fish but no it’s just poison it’s like pretty janky it kind of falls out a little bit so that’s fine I’m gonna use a mirror again to make sure I apply this properly I struggle a lot with putting on lipstick because my lips don’t have a very clear start and end point if that makes sense where my lips end and the lip shade ends the color of my lips ends are not the same so it’s like do I color the part where my lips end or where the lip shade ends I end up doing where the lip shade ends because if I do the full lip it looks like I have like a clown face then I put on some lipstick so yeah this is the matte cherry wine I find that this is like my favorite lipstick feeling there’s other lipsticks that like they feel really dry or like you can feel them like sucking out the moisture of your lips but I don’t find that happens with a lot of white ones but yeah this is generally the makeup look that I do whenever I’m feeling like a date night so I’m gonna set it with my all-nighter Urban Decay settings ready I’ll let that dry and that we good that’s it this is this is the look some of you are asking me for like an updated get ready with me or like what my general go-to for makeup is depending on like how my skin is I’ll switch between the bare minerals powder foundation or the second skin foundation from 100% pure I also have a fenty Beauty one but that I usually only wear when my skin’s like really oily cuz that’s it’s a mattifying foundation and my skin does not like that when it’s dry it gets like really patchy so I have like a couple dry spots here that even this oil-based one is like let’s get so happy with I’ll list out all the makeup that I use down below and also if you want other makeup content I’ll link to channels that I use all the time down below logical harmony which I use their website all the time to check whether or not things are cruelty free vegan if they’re owned by parent company that is or isn’t cruelty free you have to sort of decide for your own if like where you draw the line in terms of makeup and then Rianne from wife life or Rihanna hy her branding is like kind of different depending on where you go like on Instagram choose wife life but on it YouTube it’s rien H Y if you want to check out her channel as well she does all vegan the cruelty free makeup and she doesn’t like a little bit more like luxurious makeup looks I’m very jealous of her bottom eyelashes I had like a total of five bottom eyelashes per eye they’re not as like cute and fluffy like hers are like I just Asians just don’t have as many eyelashes white folks do that’s just like we just have fewer eyelashes anyway that’s a lot of rambling I’m gonna stop now and I hope you guys enjoyed this video I know this is not food content I’m gonna be coming out with more food content soon but you know experimenting with other stuff and it’s Valentine’s Day so I thought this was relevant anyway thank you guys so much for watching and I hope you guys have delicious steak bye Wow I scratch my head with like this the edge of the barrel thing Frank that hurt there’s a lot of hair in here because I’m gross okay he’s just popping off because I have a weird shape head can you just stay on please oh and yeah enter the giveaway don’t forget to enter the giveaway for madam glam more details down below okay bye
