What I Eat To Stay Strong & SHREDDED Vlog | Vegan Nutrient Analysis

[UltraVid id=117 ]That will fit not all the chambers you can tell me stories all right good morning guys so today I’m going to show you everything that I eat and drink in a day so you guys saw this morning I already had some lemon water always have that when I first wake up warm lemon water just feels so good really energizing super refreshing beyond that full of vitamin C minerals it gets your digestive tract going stimulates your limp so I definitely start off with some lemon a lot of try it for a month so you guys feel start off with a quarter of a lemon and maybe you know two three cups of water and you guys saw me throw some buckwheat into a bowl there as well and soak it I’m going to have that later on today after my smoothie after my workout so I wanted to soak it because if you guys know buckwheat gets a little bit like fly me high and if you just soak it for a couple hours beforehand it gets rid of all that so I’m just on my bike right now heading to the gym so I figured at least I’d show you guys you know that I’m doing some athletics and stuff today so you can kind of put it into some context what I’m consuming and I’m just going to pull off here and stretch a little bit before my workout like I do and I take a little pre-workout I’ll show you guys what I do there [Music] so this is what I usually take before my workouts called Vega where you workout energizer this version is a sugar-free version so sweetened with stevia but they do make a brown rice syrup sweetened one which is really great if you do them like long-distance sports or endurance sports however if you want to blossom the gym for an hour and a half I really like this one we’ve got your Vermont a which is source of caffeine devil’s claw which helps to reduce inflammation and help obtain green tea rhodiola which is an adaptogen it helps your body deal with stress ginseng definitely a little bit energizing there as well some sodium for the electrolytes turmeric help with inflammation potassium or electrolytes ginger ginger is a cool ingredient it helps other ingredients work together so it’s a synergistic ingredient where it helps other things absorb into your body and make them more bioavailable so ginger always very cool to see so you can see not a whole lot of crap in this and then just stevia beetroot powder acai and pomegranate flavors note it so I put a scoop of this into a little bit of water just a little bit of that lemon water still from this morning and shift it up in about 20 minutes blast off so I got to get warm it up I’m going to warm up have my workout I’m not going to fill a lot of that because that’s not the point of this video I get carried away with these that’s why I don’t have to do them and what I eat in a day I like to them all the other stuff so gonna cut off here maybe show you guys you know bit of what I drink through my workout what I consume through my workouts keep you going and then I’ll show you my smoothie once I get home so we got a stretch warm-up it’s awesome you guys can see what I eat all day get these games [Music] [Music] so I didn’t film much of the work out just a few movements that were easy to film there’s a nice ledge where I set up my camera to get the shot and there you can see crystal working out – that’s my girlfriend she’s awesome vegan – she’s getting stronger here’s meeting there’s some concentration curls I’d never do these kind of funny that way you caught this on still try and get those me Maya Delgado arms so here’s the big intro work out drink just water not that exciting so I just had an awesome workout really good push day so just had an awesome workout really good whole day feels so good I felt really strong today so rather than doing bodyweight stuff I just did some like heavier lifts and deadlift bent over rows seated rows wide grip rows narrow grip it could be like something like dumbbell curls and stuff I don’t always do nude at all it was fun and heading home now to make a smoothie and starving got a big day also work ahead of me so let’s go make a smoothie got to get home first you know what’s up Harry time for my post-workout smoothie so you guys follow me much you guys will know what I make already but here we go 6 bananas a couple handfuls of blueberries 3 big and medjool dates I’m using that protein powder half a scoop of that right there it’s a fermented vegan protein but jinhwan amazing taste so good let’s try it digest really well – 2 tablespoons flax you know some turmeric and black pepper in there and then just pile on the green that’s arugula nice and spicy green super alkalizing full of minerals filtered water blend it all up and I had pulled out some purple cabbage and I always put like a chunk of lemon in there as well I forgot to do that so I’m adding it now the Vitamix is amazing it will blast through anything like that same with the Blendtec any of those high speed blenders they’re so powerful it turns that lemon peel into just a silky smooth delicious post-workout smoothie so here I am taking the first sip I love it every time it’s just the best that is how you recover from a workout guys plant fuels keep the inflammation down refuel those muscles with glycogen lots of antioxidants lots of nutrients tons of minerals and vitamins if you’re just doing protein and water after your workout you think you’re helping yourself you know get on board so now I’m going to go and crush this smoothie and do some work answer some emails help my clients probably have some meetings and now it is time to eat some buckwheat so you can see here it’s a little bit slimy the water turns is kind of like pinkish color which is kind of neat so I just rinsed all that off just strain it and you could probably even eat it like this if you want but I like to cook it a little bit so that’s one cup of buckwheat just so we can easily count this I don’t usually weigh it like that or measuring like that but this is what’s all going in there so we got buckwheat that’s a cup of dry buckwheat and then we have an apple and we’ve got some canned peaches in there you guys have ever tried Okanagan peaches from British Columbia Canada they are to die for so I’ve talked it with some pumpkin seeds sunflower seeds from shredded coconut some raisins some cinnamon and some organic almond milk so this is a healthy lunch this is how I stay lean I stay shredded I build muscle on a vegan diet by eating things like this a bunch of processed and packaged scrap foods like this guy’s gotta be real food alright just got my hair cut I like it nice and short good for the summer I didn’t finish all my food so I’m just finishing it now why would I do that take a bite when I’m trying to film I have a couple errands to run in town and then I’m going to jet home keep working a little bit and then hopefully I have time to do a little workout outside well ab workout before dinner make some dinner good day so far big eating day feel good alright so it’s been doing some work and I’ve got a craving and that craving is movement like I move my body for a little bit I’m going to just work on some ABS and I guess a bit of cardio so I got my pull-up bar today I’ll be doing some like leg raises and stuff on my slackline just for fun got the battle ropes out got the rope and the tree over there we vert dip bars pretty set up I’m going to grab a yoga mat and put it out here as well and just smash it 25 minutes just big for lots of different things just keep moving have fun and then I’m going to be good and hungry for dinner and I’ll show you guys what I make for dinner tonight it’s going to be awesome at a big day I guess I could voice over this quick little workout that I have this is the backyard set up I’ll do a whole video on this perfect pretty cool and I got some rings and the slackline that I was just on really good for balance good core workout and get pretty creative on it you please ring just hang in the tree and I keep those ones up all the time I have some wood ones which are a bit nicer but I can’t full-time just student some leg raises from even pole that’s that bands which a nutbar I made if you guys saw my last video I think woods or two videos ago I go over the making of that pretty fun that’s why spending for the bamboo but it doesn’t just break it like a dowel was it does start to crack it just keeps its integrity for some reason amazed and amazing building material so knee raises and now I’m doing horrible and now I’m doing a little like hip dusters I think I have that a old ABS video that I did [Music] alright it’s time for dinner and I am hungry so here’s dinner you can see it all Whole Foods all good stuff of some sauerkraut there you can go on the side take care of my good gut bacteria keep everything healthy so we are what we absorb you guys know that so these lentils here are going to provide the bulk of the calories from the dish and they’re also going to provide a lot of protein and tons of fiber going to fill me up so that’s what I’m using they’re organic lentils so salt free no salt added can of lentils you can make your own but I just want to show you how simple and how quick and easy this could be and I also needed a easy simple meal idea so I didn’t have some like big plans of what I was going to make for dinner I just kind of looked and saw what I had as a base and I saw the lentils and I just grabbed a bunch of the veggies that I had in the fridge and pull them all out just decided what I was going to make so here I am sauteing some veggies you guys will notice there that I put some water down first on a hot pan I often use water instead of oil for a variety of reasons you guys curious I could probably make a whole video on that but basically I don’t need it oil doesn’t really do anything for me I eat my fats from whole food sources here’s another little trick I learned make a little oven with the cooked food for the uncooked food so that it cooks and kind of schemes in there I’m doing the same with the peanut there so just chop up a bunch veggies I just love how this down kind of meditative Wow and there we have it dinner is done so that wasn’t too hard and that’s a lot of food I ate a lot today and it felt amazing I felt energetic and never bogged down all day and I am going to show you guys this little treat I’m gonna have after dinner I try not to eat much after dinner but I made these the other night and they’re so good basically just peanut butter and ground flax and date I’ll blend it up together think there’s a little bit of vanilla in there too cinnamon as well so good anyways let’s eat dinner alright so that’s it for this video I’m starving tired to the long day but a lot of activity I’m a delicious dinner it looks so good very excited eat it so as you can see I mean you’re not going to lose all your muscles do you go vegan you’re not going to feel deprived I’ve had lots of delicious food today I’ve been satiated all day I’ve eaten a lot like the volume of food is quite big that I’ve eaten if you’ve noticed and I stay lean and trim and strong and high-energy my digestion is good I so thanks for sticking around to the end guys I’m just going to analyze sort of everything I ate today and show you the nutrients and the profile so this is everything I ate you guys can write it down if you want and eat just like me so here the sort of an overview I guess nutrients 3000 calories close to hundred grams of protein over 600 grams of carbs holy that’s a lot and just under 40 grams of fat over 600 grams of carbs guys next time someone tells you carbs make you fat tell them about me please so here are all the rest of the nutrients the minerals and the vitamins and I am crushing RTI’s so we’ll start at the top left and go from general down the carbs fats protein then back up to vitamins down a minerals so we talked about the calories 3,000 cows and I guess I should put into context how much I weigh and how big I am everyone’s always asking what are your stats and I’m not a huge guy but I guess the camera is kind to me people are always surprised when they hear that I’m only about 64 65 kilogram usually around 145 pounds and then five six with shoes on so not a big guy at all but hey I’m working with what I got and I love it so we got no alcohol no caffeine some caffeine in that pre-workout I’m not that shy of caffeine I’ll have a cup of coffee here and there a bit of green tea there’s that water isn’t activating – except during more than that I probably drank posted two and a half liters that day three liters is my goal I really get quite that much 600 grams of carbs we talked about that it’s incredible carbs are our fuel and they don’t make you facts I’ve been eating this much for a long time and I’m as lean as can be so you guys can tell over a hundred grams of fiber that’s very high I think I already is 35 and I know most Americans don’t get there so 102 is super good get things moving through reduce the toxic low in your body fat 40 grams I guess we should touch on the sugars I’ve never even looked at that number coming out to be if it’s attached to fruit and not a refined sugar like I’m not worried about it at all so I’m not even talk about it fat 40 grams I think they’re the are I don’t know what that set at maybe 50 grams it looks like would be like the hundred percent and I’m happy with 40 between 40 45 grams somewhere around there it’s probably good I could have had a bit more if I had a ripe avocado it would have been higher trust me so a lot of those fats are omega-3 fats from the flaxseed and omega sixes are very low which is unbelievable you want a pretty close ratio there and mine’s almost two to one which is unreal absolutely incredible the average American I remember hearing a statistic is close to 18 to 1 6 to 3 so yeah pression an anti-inflammatory good thing to build your cell membranes with full of you know healthy fats these are the ones that you want to be consuming no cholesterol and then we’re going to protein so hundred grams that’s quite a bit that’s more than I thought that I was getting so it’s a lot of protein and it’s only a half a scoop of protein powder so it’s only about I think it was 12 grams of protein of that 12 grams of that is protein powder nonfat all the all these essential amino acids are well well represented you can see there the branched chain amino acids isoleucine leucine and valine or valine some people call it those are all well met leucine supposed to be a hard one to get on if you can diet and I’m just crushing it at over 200 percent 230 percent of that so nope wrong building muscle over here guys trust me so all the vitamins are met as you guys would assume except for b12 which you need to take a supplement if you’re a long-term vegan and then all the other vitamins have been met just you know in vitamin A some people get alarmed when they see it that high our body is fine with consuming that much beta-carotene and plant-based vitamin A however preformed vitamin A that comes from meat in that amount it could definitely be pro cancerous and not good for us vitamins vitamin C Goods vitamin D I did not get 100% of that because we get that from the Sun and if it’s not if you’re not in the sunny environment or you know you’re not getting a lot of Sun and it probably has to supplement that look into a vegan d3 supplement vitamin E look at that over a hundred percent there and that’s probably thanks to some of the nuts and seeds that I was eating vitamin K a lot lots of that so that my body is times the k2 turned into vitamin k2 and then everything else down here minerals and all that exciting everything’s met some people some Keener’s might notice that calcium is 775 I think I got there I can’t see it’s really really tiny but I know it’s over a hundred percent however the sort of RDI that comes from I think the USDA s thousand milligram I don’t think that we need that much when we’re doing other things to stimulate our bone density and there’s a lot of you know evidence to prove that and if you guys are really curious about it you know ask me in the comments and I can provide you with some but a lot of communities that don’t eat dairy and don’t consume nearly as much dairy that we do and have far less calcium intake have a lot better bone density is basically what it comes down to so I’m fine and I haven’t broken anything since I’ve been vegan and I’m pretty reckless so copper iron manganese magnesium phosphorus potassium they’re all met look at that potassium people would think that with all my bananas I was like a billion times you know like lethal dose of potassium not even note 183 but you didn’t know that pretty cool selenium was met I didn’t even have a Brazil nut look at that sodium you know I didn’t add any salt to my stew that day I don’t think but there’s probably more than that maybe in the salsa and that sort of thing and then zinc was met probably with pumpkin seeds and buckwheat got a ton of zinc as well so look at that guy’s I didn’t even really plan this date I just ate what I had and what I liked and I met all my nutrient requirements I felt satiated all day I ate delicious food it didn’t take me a long time to prepare it it was all Whole Foods and you know what look at how cheap all of that food is it’s incredibly cheap so honestly guys get on board with this and I know a lot of you guys are already happy to inspire if you guys have any questions WHAT I EAT IN A DAY + WORKOUT ROUTINE | VEGAN

[UltraVid id=116 ]Hey y’all so I am here to share with you guys what I have been eating well some of what I’ve been eating on my fitness journey for my bikini competition so but before we start and also follow us on snapchat because we have been sending up in a little bit more since we have a little bit more time and yeah so now for the juicy stuff what have I’ve been eating okay I’m going to give you guys a lowdown on what I eat pretty much on a high day into my competition so my competition is July 30th the Lila burrata show in PC competition sticking to this diet has been it’s been a breeze but these last couple of days for some reason have been like really really challenging but I’ve been carb cycling these past three weeks so I have like a high day where I eat a bit more higher calories and higher carbs and then have a really really low day where I’m eating really low cal lower calories and lower carbs but basically my calories range right now because they tape it off since I’ve started dieting for this competition they have been tapering off slowly and so have my carbohydrates so do I recommend this diet for someone to get in shape on a daily no I don’t know to me it is not healthy this is not a Oh a like this everyday you can totally mess up your metabolism so my calories have been ranging from anywhere between 1100 in 1350 M our carbohydrates on a high day are about 95 grams to 100 grams they basically below 100 grams and in on my low days they’re about 45 grams to 50 max grams on a low day so I just one let you guys know no I will not continue to eat this way after the show I will keep you updated on how I’m doing I am looking into doing a reverse side I’ve been researching to figure out what’s going to be best for me I do not plan on going back to where I was to the way I was eating before where I was eating a ton of calories way to me for my body and way too many carbohydrates I’m not doing that but I’m also not going to continue the diet that I’m on now because it is not healthy so I’m going to find a nice medium in between and go from there and I will keep you guys updated on that as well so let’s start with breakfast okay so to start my day off I’m going to have a oatmeal tofu smoothie and I’m going to use my Vitamix blender to get the job done so I’m going to use 1/3 cup of oats about 1/3 cup of strawberries I’m going to use 1/4 of a block of firm tofu and I’m also going to add in half a cup of unsweetened vanilla cashew milk and I’m going to add about 8 to 12 ounces of water and I’m going to blend it all up for about 10 to 15 seconds and I am going to serve it in a mason jar and on top of it I like to sprinkle a bit of cinnamon that instead that this hopes to also burn fetch I don’t know I just really like taste and stir it all up and that is breakfast okay so from our post-workout meal I do just a simple protein shake using my garden alive organic a protein powder this is the vanilla flavor and I just simply mix it with water and I do this twice a day once from after my first workout and once after my second and as an on the go snack have packed a apple cinnamon rice cake here for when I needed and I eat this before my lunch so for lunch I am going to do tofu sweet potatoes and broccoli in I like to go ahead and preset the oven for my sweet potato to about 425 degrees Fahrenheit and of course I rinse my sweet potato out and I poke holes with a fork inside of the sweet potato just so to cook faster and more thoroughly and I wrap it in foil and put it in a non-stick baking sheet pan and I let this cook for about an hour and during that hour I prepare my other food so I’m going to start off with boiling some water for my frozen broccoli I’m going to add three cups here of frozen broccoli Emma let this cook while I prepare my tofu so I’m going to use extra firm tofu here and I’m going to use a knife and a cutting board to do job and I’m going to cut half the block into fours and I’m going to cut this side that I’m using it to 16 pieces and I’m going to use eight pieces for lunch I’m going to eat eight pieces for dinner so to flavor my tofu I’m going to use onion powder garlic powder ground cumin and paprika and I wait until the water warms up a bit and then I add in my seasonings and I kind of mix it up a bit and then I add in my tofu and kind of saute it and let it cook and I cook this all the way through until the water kind of runs out and tofu holds a lot of water so I try to cook it to where there’s not a lot of water in the tofu so during that time while my tofu was cooking up I strain out my broccoli and I began plating and I only eat half of the sweet potato here and I like to sprinkle on top some cinnamon because I love cinnamon and I’m also going to use some salt free chipoltle a seasoning by mrs. – and I’ll spring some on top of my tofu so that is my lunch ok now off to my afternoon snack I’m going to use my chocolate protein powder unsweetened cashew milk and organic frozen strawberries in some water so in the blender I’m going to mix two scoops of my chocolate protein for strawberries 1/2 a cup of unsweetened cashew milk and about 16 ounces of water and I’m going to blend that up for about 10 to 15 seconds in my Vitamix and I am going to drink that all up and now I’m having dinner so I’ve already precooked my tofu in my brown rice and so all I’m going to do here is cook my frozen asparagus and I’m going to cook the whole entire pack I’m going to eat the whole entire pack it’s not really a lot of calories but it looks like it and I let it cook for about six to eight minutes let it boil strain my asparagus and then i plate my food so all I’m gonna have is my 8 pieces of tofu in a half a cup of brown rice plain Jane and on top of my asparagus I like to use lime juice it’s zero calories zero sodium with mrs. Dash’s salt previous the lime seasoning and voila that is it so all someone like to add that I do drink about two gallons of water a day and I’m also taking a Fabri and I know they mentioned this earlier but it is by alpha mean and I also came across a vegan friendly VCAA powder but Lila Prada himself the guy who’s hosting the show that I’m actually going to be competing in okay so that’s the insight on my diet and it changes and it has changed constantly throughout the whole entire process and how it came about planning my diet I read a vegan muscle in bodybuilding book it’s called the vegan Muscle & Fitness guide to bodybuilding competitions in this book and I’ll show you what it looks like here on the cover has helped me out a ton and I also got tips from Danny my trainer and Carmen babysit say um also gave me tips along the way of you know what to do and what not to do as well I have been doing my diet this whole entire time and I pretty much used this book as a guide and pretty much tailored the meal plan to fit my needs and I’ve learned a ton by just doing my own diet myself so diet Liz was my little baby in this whole situation and training is pretty much Diddy so I want to give you guys the rundown on what my workout routine is during the week sunday is just simply a cardio day and we’re almost one week out from the show I’ve been cutting down on my cardio but for the most part I’ve been doing 45 minutes to an hour of cardio and I’ll try to switch it up sometimes I do Stairmaster sometimes I get on a treadmill um lately I’ve been like these past two or three weeks for like two weeks I don’t know I don’t know it’s like two and a half weeks I don’t know I’ve been going to the track so I’m going to track with Danny and I’ve been to the track requirement once it was a wake up call because I had ran track in long a long time I don’t like running but I needed to get my legs down my legs are pretty thick they’re hefty but I like my legs but for the show you know you gotta be a little slender than usual so um the track has much definitely hope that Danny and I we do Sprint’s bleachers job this job the Straits walk the curbs what I gave a car man was we pretty much sprinted the straights in job the curves I think five times around the track but there’s different different routines different workouts you can do the track and it pretty much helped get my legs down mondays are two a days I have five days out of the week where I workout twice so that’s like a cardio in a weight training day on Mondays I do cardio in legs and on Mondays I work out by myself or train by myself um and I’m pretty good with training my legs I feel confident all that stuff so I’ll do cardio you do it in the afternoon or the evening but I’ve been doing my weight training in the morning and my cardio in the evening all the days that I work out by myself that I wait trained by myself so Tuesdays I work out with Danny then the man and I do cardio in the mornings and I do back and biceps with him on Wednesdays Wednesday is another just playing cardio day it’s my choice of what I want to do for cardio Thursday is another day that I work out with Danny so I do cardio in the morning and I wait train with him in the afternoons and on Thursdays we do shoulders and we train hamstrings so we do shoulders and hams on Thursdays Fridays I train with Danny again I do cardio in the morning and we do legs together and so we hit legs Saturday I train by myself it’s another two a day and I’d like to do my weight training in the morning just to get it out of the way but if I can’t sometimes I’ll do cardio in the morning when I weight training by myself but I do chest and triceps in the morning on Saturdays and cardio in the evenings and sometimes here and there Danny will have me work on other muscle groups with him if I need the extra help like my triceps it was so hard for me to like they were being stubborn so it’s hard for me to trigger that muscle so he held me I’ll take quite a bit I’ll work out three times out of the week with Danny and he’ll give me the you know tips on what I should do for cardio or you know training certain muscles like my tries or my legs he’ll give me tips on what to do when I’m by myself so he has been such a big help to me in such a guide and such a great friend throughout this whole entire process he’s an amazing trainer and I couldn’t ask for more I’m so happy that I’ve met him how we begin our training through this room we began preparation for the show is we did heavier weights in less reps and so now that we’re getting closer I guess you call that bulking so it was bokken moon doing heavier weights less reps that was with during our poking phase and now that we’re closer to the show we have been doing lighter weights in more rifts so we’re in a cutting phase right now and he’s getting ready to cut my my cardio just so I can retain most a little bit more and yeah we’ll start depletion next week so I’ll be cutting out my water and I’ll be taking some diuretics in order to release water weight from my body so that you can see the muscle definition a bit more he said I’ll be cutting out my protein shake so my diet of course is going to change and I’ve got to be hydrated so that should help out with the tofu retaining water stuff like that if I have to increase my tofu or tempeh intake tempeh doesn’t really have a lot of water but it’s the tofu does but yes so that is my workout routine I do want to mention that I believe that you can train for show without the use of a fat burner and other supplements I’m using them because I ran into diet issues earlier on in preparation for the show and needed substance pastor in order to be competitive so if you’re doing it SMALL VEGAN BUSINESS HAUL

[UltraVid id=102 ]Hey everyone welcome back to my channel I hope you’re all doing well it feels like forever since I sat down here and film few guys I think it’s actually been like a month like a solid month since I actually sat down and filmed a video so this feels a little bit strange so today I’m actually filming something a little bit different for you guys I’m going to be filming a small vegan business haul because I’ve recently picked up a couple of things from some stores that I have discovered on Instagram so I just wanted to share them with you guys cuz I know the christmas is coming up and some of you may want to support the smaller businesses rather than the big stores so I thought I would show you a couple of sauce that I’ve recently discovered and yeah that’s it really so the first story I want to talk to you guys about is an Etsy store that I discovered through Instagram called the punky bunny so the punky bunny is run by a lady called Emma she creates everything on the store she hand makes it and she ships everything from her house so everything is done in her house and she designs everything as well she has some really unique designs on there she creates pins patches cards prints like birthday cards and stuff like that t-shirts tote bags key rings absolutely everything basically so I was really happy to see that she had a really good variety of stuff on there and everything on the shop kind of has a theme and a look to it but I just I just really loved so I picked myself up the gift box now this is such good value for money because inside here you get quite a few items and this gift box costs 9 pounds so it’s really really good value for money by the way I bought this myself with my own money and it’s not sponsored at all not gifted so just thought I’m telling that before show you so this is the box that it comes in and it comes in this like the letter box sized box so that if you don’t have like I don’t know somebody to pick up your box for you if you’re not going to be home and then it will just be posted through your less box which is awesome so in this gift box you get a set of 4 pins a keyring a print and a card and so you get to pick which print card and keyring that you want and then the badges she will just send you with ever badges are on shop she has tons of badges and they’re all really cute anyway so don’t worry about getting anything you don’t like because I guarantee you won’t get anything so I have got four pins here and they say vegan because I care hail Satan friends not food and go vegan you should in a little Yoda and I think I’m gonna use these for my lush tote bag because they’re all black and white and my lush tote bag is black and white and currently I have some pins on there that are like different colors and it always makes me cringe a little bit when I see it because it’s not it doesn’t match the theme at the bag so I really want to put these ones on there instead I think these would look really cool with it then inside this little box here which was actually packaged up like that came this keyring so a lot of the items that she has on her store are kind of this like Tavor theme so you don’t know what tarot cards are they’re basically like and I think it’s like they’re like they’re like cards that spiritual people use to kind of tell you your future and tell you where you are in life from what’s happening with you things like that and I picked up this a keyring and it says the vegan on it and I thought this was really nice it was really subtle she has some other really cool designs on there there’s a few other key rings that I really want to get and to buy these individually is a really good price as well so the print that I chose is this one it is again in this Tarot theme and this says compassion it’s got two hands making the shape of the heart with a whale insider and a Sun at the top and I thought this was really cute because I wanted to put a print in my house that was gonna be that I didn’t want something to say vegan on it because basil lives her as well and I don’t know if he would like me to just put like vegan posters everywhere so and I got this one instead it just says compassion I think it’s really subtle it’s really tasteful very nice and I really like it and the card that it’s printed on it’s really nice it’s kind of like all speckled and stuff from where it’s been made out of recycled materials and I really like that it just gives it a really nice look then the last item that you get in this box is a card so you can choose from like birthday cards I think she might do like Get Well cards or stuff like that as well she has loads of different card options on there I have this print here but sand that I keep just on like my little table and it says spice up your damn life and I got this from Urban Outfitters that’s actually like a birthday card but I just put it in one of those little frames because I thought it would be really cute as prints so I got this one which is a fox because I thought out of all of the cards on there this was the one that would look best as a print it wouldn’t look random just having that happy birthday and an inner frame I might in my flat and and I thought this is really cute I really like foxes I’ve come to appreciate them a lot more since going vegan before I was vegan I didn’t really appreciate foxes at all and now I’ve really learned to appreciate them especially after following and is it Jupiter or juniper is it juniper fox or Instagram the really famous Fox on Instagram so cute you have to go and follow him something I noticed while I was on her sister as well is that she does occasionally and throw in like a free gift or like a lucky dip card into her boxes which i think is a really nice touch and it’s so nice to get to order something and then you get like a little free extra summin summin in that i think it gives a really nice incentive for that person to go back and buy something and it’s also just very thoughtful I think it’s a really nice touch so in here she actually put another foxy item so we have it this notebook which is all lined paper and it’s really cute I really like this and I am actually I actually wanted a notebook I was actually thinking about buying a notebook a few days before I got this box and delivered to me because I’m doing a lot of stuff with my vegan guide at the moment on my website and I want to make some notes and stuff sorry if you can hear my tummy rumbling it keeps rumbling and I’m really hungry the next store I’m gonna talk to you guys about is a store that I’ve been actually following for quite a long time on Instagram it used to be called Asia ethical wears now the girl who runs this cassia she does like old school t-shirt printing so she used to print a lot of her own t-shirts and jumpers and stuff like that and she sold them on a shop called cassia ethical where she used to have this kind of like mandela and she used to do like mandela print t-shirts and vegan t-shirts like she has the whole vegan babe a lot of you may have seen this she’s the girl who’d prints vegan babe it’s her brand basically and I’ve been following cassia for ages and she recently rebranded her entire store to now be called care wares which is so cute by the way and she’s pretty much rebranded everything on she still has the vegan babe stuff but now she has a lot more kind of pastel papi vegan vibe clothing and everything is ethically made everything is hand printed by I think she actually does all the printing herself as well which is amazing so yeah I picked up a couple of things on care wares so the first thing I have here is this tote bag and it says tofu appreciation society now I fell in love with this tote bag when I saw it on her Instagram page I just really liked it I really liked the tote bags that don’t say like vegan all over them I like tote bags that kind of hint at being vegan but in a subtle way that are just fun and cute because I think they draw a lot of attention from people and then you kind of look into a bit more and then you’re like oh it’s like a vegan thing so the way this has been printed it is it feels and looks 3d it does actually come off of the bag a little bit I don’t know if you can see it there but this is just so cute and when I first saw this on the store and I thought this was why I’m really funny about having like white bags because well having like a white faux leather bag is fine because you can wipe it off but having like a cotton or natural material bag that is why or a light color I get really freaked out by it because I mess things up a lot so I’m gonna try and keep this bag as clean as possible it is a craze more of a cream color than a white which I was happy about because if it’s bright white I’m gonna mess it up in like a week but if it’s cream you know I’m not gonna mess it up that quickly everything came packaged really nicely she put it in like a pink mail bag and then everything was wrapped up in this really cute pink tissue paper with these little like care bear stickers on it and I just thought it’s really cute these are like really nice touches that you don’t tend to get with bigger and bigger shops or like bigger online stores you only really get these with small vegan businesses I’ve noticed so I think that’s a really nice touch and a really nice bonus of buying something from a small pekin business so yeah I have the tofu appreciation bag she has her little label on it there which is care wares vegan organic Fairtrade and totally cute which it is everything on there is totally cute and I said she’s rebranded and she has a lot of new stuff on there so you guys really need to go and check it out then I picked up one of the vegan baby butt patches so I mentioned you guys earlier about the vegan babe hoodies this is the logo that she prints on to these gorgeous pink hoodies and just so pretty I really want to get one I’m gonna put this onto a denim jacket I have a black denim jacket that has quite decent size pockets at the front so I think it would look really cool just like here oh my god it’s gonna look so cute the last item that I want to show you guys is my monthly greedy llama box so if you have been following my channel for a while then you would have seen that over the past few here I can’t wait to show you guys so the first thing I’m gonna pull out is these by owner organic maple syrup waffles now these look like stroopwafels if you ever been to Amsterdam the strip waffles everywhere they’re basically these like hard caramel very thin waffles and I think the idea of what you do with them is you put them over like a hot drink and they melt a little bit and then you eat it or you can dunk it in the hot drink you know I am gonna read to it because it tastes smells very good okay next we have the nares gnar I can never pronounce this nonce Nan’s mixed berry oat biscuits now I got a box of these in a previous greeting on the box they were like the ginger something they were like an orange box I’m not the biggest fan of Nan’s oak biscuits and to me they always look a lot nicer on the packaging than they actually taste so I’m gonna give these to my sister then we have a little a can of coconut blue coconut blue blue dragon coconut milk blue dragon coconut milk is actually a brand that I use quite a lot for my curries and stuff and when it’s on sale because it’s a little bit pricey in the stores and so whenever it’s like a pound I’ll always buy it because it is a good brand of coconut milk sorry I’m really hot that’s why I keep like pushing the hair on my face because it literally sticking to my forehead I am so hot then we have some vegetable Bowl tea organic looks like soup is it a soup or is it like a I don’t know it is a vegetarian friendly wheat-free gluten-free dairy-free vegan friendly low-fat mustard free and celery free oh I never heard of that handcrafted gourmet vegan wagon-wheel yes I have had a vegan wagon-wheel before and that box I mentioned earlier that my sister got for me it had a vegan wagon wheel in it but I don’t think it was this brand because I don’t think I’ve ever tried this brand but anyway this is the roundup vegan wagon wheel and I always like I ate something and yesterday that wasn’t vegan it had milk and eggs in it and I’ll talk to you guys for more about that in my upcoming vegan Q&A video and yeah I thought was going to throw up so now I’m looking at the ingredients of everything I’m like are you sure you’re vegan the last two things that we have in here are the bounce vlive balls so I always see these in the shops right but they are literally like two pounds for this tiny little ball and no offense to bounce but that’s really overpriced that’s so expensive and so I’m very surprised to see that they are in this box and because these are very expensive right in the shot and that’s what I really like about these subscription boxes is that not only do you get products that you wouldn’t really know about or buy before is that you do actually you can actually end up saving a lot of money because they retail for the items in this box retail for a lot more than what the box is what you’re paying for the box if you know I mean that’s the whole point of a subscription box I guess to like kind of save you money and show you new products but yeah so these are protein energy balls amis we have armand KO and armand spirulina and so yeah 9 grams of veggie protein in each one which is pretty good considering this is only 40 grams of or so that is everything I have to show you guys in my small vegan business haul I really hope that you guys enjoyed this I think I’m going to make WHAT I ATE TODAY + 10 MIN MEAL RECIPE (vegan)

[UltraVid id=11 ]That’s good don’t have pages if you haven’t had a donut peach so this in my Instagram story the other day you have not lived they are the best peaches ever it’s just like a birthday cake flavor yeah they’re just like super sweet anyways guys good morning it is earlier than we usually wake up isn’t it a little bit this morning I’ve made some oatmeal we’re making it a quick oatmeal as you saw I just poured some hot water on my oats don’t normally make oatmeal like that it doesn’t usually come out to be like the best texture but it’s gonna work for us this morning cuz what are you doing this morning we’re going on ATV and four-wheeler anyway it’s for wheeling yes we’re going off-roading okay quad biking are those all ATV in right terms yeah okay we’re going to ATV in we’re going for wheeling like an hour and a half away which is why we’re up early because we have one morning’s lot to do so so we have to drive an hour and a half and actually our Airbnb host yes yeah invited us to go so that’s where we’re going this morning and we’re having a quick bowl of oats with some delicious donut peaches [Applause] just a bit of sugar in office yeah I’ve got no maple syrup maple syrup we were told the trails might be muddy so I’ve changed out of my first outfit because I didn’t want to get that muddy so I’m wearing just kind of clothes that I don’t care about getting money we’re ready to go a TV hour and a half later and we’re at South Africa forest adventures appear going on I don’t want to drive my own because I’m kind of scared it’s me we’ll see we have the GoPro so let’s go go pro footage [Music] so we just finished ATVing that was so much fun I was really scared to do it myself but once I started doing it I was like okay I got this it’s like super beautiful scenery and we actually had to change locations we were at one location and there was forest fire so then we had to move to another location but this location was absolutely beautiful yes now I am so ready for food that was so fun I’m so dirty my whole face is covered in dirt I had to go to the washroom and to wipe it all dirty boy you’re like this haha shirt in your shoes we went through so many like mud puddles and Kyle didn’t lift up his feet he just like let them get soaked by mud but my shoes are clean [Music] would you get their dreams [Applause] Tom had tofu so long like some said ginger I think that’s ginger big chicken burger let’s get into it alright guys we are back home from lunch and I had a shower we’ve just kind of chilled a little bit we definitely needed that shower we got out of the shower and we have white towels and we were wiping like just like you know like drying our face and our neck and there was still dirt coming off of our necks even though we had showered we didn’t realize how dirty we actually were and I have a few friends about join me on my face so I’m not gonna cover them up because I don’t need to cover them up I’m sick of covering them up I hate putting on makeup I haven’t been wearing makeup for like this past month and a half and my skin has been doing really well except for right now it’s very angry at me but I think it’s because I’m ovulating so those of you Latian pimples but I am having a quick snack right now pretty random foods I’m having uh rice cakes with avocado and some light cheese yummy the light cheese you’re actually pretty good even though they don’t look like totally pink they’re not like Thailand light cheese but they still taste good so that’s my little snack I’m gonna do some editing because I have some work to do today and yeah argaï so it’s a little bit later and i’m gonna be making some dinner and today we just had a very long day we got up super early and then we spent probably like four hours of driving in the car today so we’re just kind of beat and I don’t really feel like cooking Kyle doesn’t feel like cooking we don’t feel like making anything so I’m just gonna whip up something super easy and quick and I’m whipping up whipping whipping what I call one of my 10-minute meals I’ve posted a few of these on my Instagram and this one specifically everyone had a lot of questions about so I thought I would make it for dinner tonight because one we don’t have like anything in the house we need to go grocery shopping and we have all the ingredients for this so it worked out perfectly so this is what I’m making we’ve got three cans of vegetable soup this one is vegan we get it from Woolworths everyone was asking in the Instagram comments which a veggie soup that we get and if it has good ingredients and it has pretty good ingredients I mean I could do without the sulfur dioxide but it’s pretty good and it tastes very fresh and delicious so I’m making three cans of these because we’re kind of hungry today usually we just have a can each but and then I’m also gonna be adding some canned kidney beans I’m just gonna drain and rinse these and I’m going to add that to the soup and in this pot I have some kale and also under here some tender stem broccoli which you guys know that we love so much and I’m just going to add a little bit of water and then I’ll put the lid on this and steam it up and while my veggies are steaming I’m going to heat up a soup and there’s already kadhi beans in this soup mix but I like to add in an extra can just to give it a little bit more protein and make it a little bit more filling okay so my soup is hot it probably took like seven minutes I’m adding in some of the steamed kale mix that in a little bit I also have some ciabatta on the side because you need ciabatta when you eat in soup I’ve got the steamed broccolini and then finally we top it with some beautiful avocado I’ve had lots of avocado today but I’ve been craving avocado so this is perfect so literally like no prep time for this meal it’s just super quick and easy literally ten minutes and done Jimmy Jimmy should we get you reaction [Music] [Applause] well there’s a little update on how Jack is doing oh my gosh I miss him so much I know you guys miss him too I see a few of you guys asking about him in the comments so a lot of people seem to think that eating a plant-based diet takes a lot of preparation and time and it’s just too much for them to handle and majority of the time yes you need to be prepared you need to meal prep if you have a busy schedule but that goes for if you want to eat healthy in any diet even if you are eating animal products you still need to prepare the animal products and what’s the difference if you are preparing a piece of meat or animal than preparing plants so I don’t know I’ve never cooked me my parents always cooks the meat I would always just make craft dinner like like but it just as long as making a regular lasagna I know like it’s it takes less time to make I think people just think they need to like think about it more because they they’re not just using like regular cheese or meat anyways I want to show you guys that you can have a delicious wholesome meal in under 10 minutes and there’s so many different variations that you can make 10-minute meals I think I need to make like a series of 10-minute meals like this is super wholesome you’ve got lots of greens healthy fats from the avocado extra beans extra protein and vegetable soup now normally I would recommend yes that you make your own veggie soup and have that prepped in the fridge but we all have busy lives and there is going to be days where you don’t feel like cooking we’re all human we all don’t always feel like cooking every single day so having options like this I think is so important because I think a lot of like what I eat in a day is that you see on youtube from vegans are like them pre planning their day and like they already know what they’re gonna have for dinner that and they make sure that they have extra time to prepare that meal and in reality we all have busy lives and you know so it’s okay to have some canned veggie soup don’t be afraid to have some canned veggie soup or healthy convenience foods I would say canned vegetable soup is a healthy convenience food so delicious wholesome I should do like boyfriend does a voiceover for my wedding so I don’t have bread that often but I love spot-up with soup but if you have like leftover quinoa or something in the fridge that would be really good to even throw in the soup you know just need those calories so guys I hope you enjoyed this video we had a really fun day today going and exploring parts of South Africa that we haven’t seen before it was really cool to like take that two-hour drive and just like drive all the way out into the country and then riding on those ATVs everything seems kind of dead but like it’s just seeing like the vast Murray like the mountains and stuff it was just it was a really awesome day we had a great day didn’t we yes did you have fun yes I enjoyed riding an ATV I was scared to do it but I conquered my fear today of riding an ATV no I was like I’ll just write on the back of Kyle’s because I was too scared but you know do something every day that scares you guys anyways guys I
