What I Eat in a Day | Raw Vegan Breastfeeding Mom

Hello guys it’s fabula and welcome back to another video today I’m going to share with you what I eat in a day as a raw vegan breastfeeding mom and for those who are new here I just want to let you know that I normally eat some cooked food but lately I started a kind of raw vegan cleanse and I’ve been enjoying it so much that you know I’ve just decided to keep on doing that until I feel the need to go back to cook food so yeah it’s time for the breakfast and I’m gonna have a lot of greens I’m gonna use all these beautiful veggies so as you know guys I love having my greens in the morning because you know it’s one of my favorite way to alkalize my body in the morning and get a lot of nutrients so here we have calcium iron proteins and so much more bring one by one
Oh for you Oh your mommy’s dream you got some green the Sun is full force I love it we’re gonna get all of them indeed all right guys I’m gonna go and enjoy my green juice while doing a basic which is playing on the ground with Jesse this is the basic isn’t it’s a basic ok I’m gonna drink these and play on the ground with my lil mama my favorite dang mama mama so I got this recipe from a blog and I’m gonna put link for that in the description box below so you guys can enjoy as well it’s very good it’s just simple ingredient but so good hey guys I just finished cooking in church this dinner and I’m about to have a delicious berry smoothie and it has like bananas celery berries Mingo I’m gonna put the exact recipe for these very smoothie in the description box below so you guys can check it out right guys my smoothie is ready the making and tonight I’m gonna have ladies tacos whoo so of course I’m gonna use the letters for the taco I’m going to use two different fillings and the first filling is gonna be a kind of curb and guacamole mixed you know I would just use a curb I will mix it with avocado pink salt lemon juice mushrooms green onions you know it’s just so so good and the second fillings is going to be shredded carrot and beet and I’m gonna mix it with a little bit of agave you can use any kind of natural sweetener and it just happen to be what I have on hands you know and I will also add a little bit of garlic lemon and you know I will mix it well and it’s so so so good that’s gonna be dinner I will show you a little bit how I make it but we put the exact recipe in the description box below so you guys can also try it because it’s really good I’m about to shred my carrot and I’m gonna use my blender because it makes life so so easy so I simply added the carrot in the blender and I’m gonna post at 5:00 you know and that’s basically it so I would do this and I will show you the finished product and I’m gonna do the same for the beach alright guys I hope you enjoyed this video if you liked it give it a thumbs up and if you have any video you would like me to film please share with me in the comment below if you are new here don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the next video what are you trying to do bye guys mmm

What I Eat in a Day | Vegan & Gluten-Free

Good morning everyone. I just flew back to Berlin yesterday, I was in Sicily for the weekend, I just went grocery shopping and I’m gonna have breakfast so today I’m going to show you what I eat in a day at the moment try this melon watermelon season is over now but I’m still able to find balance and I’m pretty sure I’m able to find them all year round I really love them to start my day with I think they’re so hydrating and so delicious and as some of you know I don’t have a blender at the moment here in Berlin I will get one very soon so until then I am just eating fruits like this and the winter I’ll probably be making more smoothies but right now I don’t have a blender so I buy fruits that I actually enjoy just eating by themselves I pack this from home yesterday before leaving Switzerland there’s a passion fruit a pineapple and to face from my garden so it’s like 3 p.m. right now mmm this is like a snack mmm afternoon snack because I had a light breakfast and as later I’ll make dinner this pineapple is really good and with the pineapple and passion fruit and figs I’m also gonna have some great I’m actually gonna leave now in a bit I’m just gonna eat some grapes before going and then I’ll like see you guys when I’m back hmm tonight I made spaghetti and I haven’t had spaghetti in a while for the sauce I used garlic red onions fresh tomatoes I added basil and oregano and then I added some eggplant some mushrooms and some tomato sauce and then finally I added nutritional yeast and black pepper and I’m eating all of that on a bed of spinach right now this is really good this is super easy to make and it’s gluten free and it’s vegan so that’s it for today that’s everything that I eat I don’t know how much pasta I’m gonna have I’m definitely gonna have this bowl and maybe some more after yeah I think that’s it so thank you guys so much for watching this video I really hope it was helpful or or maybe gave the ideas of meals that you could prepare at home.

Easy Vegan Meal Prep (Healthy + Gluten Free)

Hey everyone its Caitlin and welcome to another video in this video I’m going to show you some easy recipes that would be a perfect for meal prep for the school or work week we’re going to be making some golden milk chia seed pudding for breakfast some tasty beans and rice for lunch and last but certainly not least some sheet pan fajitas for dinner with chipotle lime tofu before we get into these get into the video so first we’re going to make some golden milk chia seed pudding this recipe is so easy and it is perfect for meal prep so to start out you’re just going to add some chia seeds to a bowl I’m using some white chia seeds because it makes the pudding look prettier TBH but you can use black ones to thrive market cells both then we’re going to add in some turmeric cinnamon ginger cardamom cayenne and black pepper you can’t taste this but it helps with the absorption of curcumin in turmeric which is healthy and they were also adding a pinch of salt then we’re going to add some plant-based milk I am using some coconut milk I got this one on 5 market and I like how it is unsweetened because I prefer to just sweeten my breakfast with fruit but on that note if you do want to make this sweeter you can also add in a few tablespoons of the maple syrup I’m also adding in some vanilla extract then you’re just going to whisk everything together until all the spices are well incorporated and you don’t get any clumps of anything then you’re going to let this sit for about 5 to 10 minutes and then just whisk it one more time because sometimes you get these really big clumps of hard chia seeds and it just helps everything to be more evenly incorporated so then you can plop this chia seed pudding into some mason jars or Tupperware for an easy breakfast and then before serving you can top it with fresh fruit like some blueberries as well as whatever else you want I used some coconut and pumpkin seeds but like I said the world is your oyster that’s not very vegan but you know do what you want with your toppings but anyways I love this breakfast it’s so warming and cozy and it keeps me full until lunch speaking of lunch we’re going to be making some instant pot rice and beans and this actually only requires five ingredients but tastes so good so first you’re going to add your dried beans to your instant pot I’m using some red kidney beans from thrive market I like buying dry beans because it’s more cost effective but you can use any beans that you want in terms of variety then we’re just going to add in some vegetable broth some rice and then some water just to top everything off and make sure there’s enough liquid in the instant pot then we’re just going to give that a good stir to make sure the rice and beans are evenly distributed throughout the liquid then we’re going to be adding in some chopped cilantro I chopped my cilantro stems for the most part because they still have flavor and are going to like sort of dissolve into this and you won’t get big bites of them and then you could save the leaves for a garnish or something else then we’re also going to add in a little bit of salsa and this combination it just makes the flavors amazing ooh and I also wanted to note that this is the vegetable broth I use I actually buy it on thrive market and it is a paste and I like it because you get 38 cups out of this container and it’s super convenient to use rather than buying those cartons of vegetable broth over and over again so just going into it set your instant pot to ceiling and then it cook this for around 25 or so minutes then afterwards you’re going to let it naturally release for 10 minutes then release the pressure and then just give everything a good stir and Europeans and rice are done this meal doesn’t look the prettiest but I promise guys the flavors in it are so good so if I was taking us on the go for meal prep I would probably serve it with some of those fresh cilantro leaves and some avocado as well and you can also add any other snacks that you want from lunch so there for dinner we’re going to making some sheet heeda’s which a poll a lime tofu I saw someone post sheet pan fajitas with chicken once and I was like oh my gosh that’s genius I need to do it so for our veggies we’re going to start out with some portobello mushrooms I’m just cleaning them with a cloth and then slicing them into big chunks and to season our portobello mushrooms we’re going to add some tamari and some chili powder just mix that all up and then add it to a greased or lined baking pan I’m using a reusable silicone mat I can link it in the description below next up we’re going to chop our onions for our fajitas so I kept them pretty big because I like how they give texture to the fajitas and for these I’m just adding some black pepper and some sea salt mix it up again and then put that on the train next to the mushrooms then we’re using some bell peppers you can use any colors you want but I used red orange and yellow for the Instagram because you know it looks prettier so then after you chop all of those up you’re going to add them to a bowl and also wanted to note that I get all of my spices from a thrive market I like to purchase organic spices because non-organic spices are often irradiated with heat which takes a nutritional value away from the spices and some cheaper spices also have fillers or other gross things in them so that’s why I buy organic but anyways here we’re using chili powder cumin cayenne and salt then you can place this on the tray and last but not least we have our tofu I pressed my tofu and then cut it into these rectangular sort of cubes I wanted them to be a little bit thicker for these fajitas so they had a nice bite to them and to season our tofu first we’re going to add the juice of one lime then we’re going to add some nutritional yeast so much Chipotle powder and some salt and just mix that up until all the tofu pieces are pretty evenly covered in this cheesy delicious Chipotle a mixture and then we’re going to plop them onto the tray with the rest of our veggies that we’re going to bake these in the oven for 30 minutes but after 15 minutes we’re going to take them out of the oven and flip the veggies and the tofu and then pop it back in the oven for another 15 minutes and this is what they look like when they come out also I didn’t include it in the video but I do want to say that this recipe makes 2 trays worth of oh geez I also toasted up some tortillas to serve with my fajitas you could also serve them with some rice on the side if you want a little bit of a heart of your meal but that is pretty much it they store really easily for meal prep and then when you’re ready you can just assemble your tacos eat however many you want and then I topped mine here with some salsa and some fresh cilantro plus some lime as well also for the record I used to work at a tex-mex restaurant and I think these behaves were better than the ones we WHAT I EAT IN A DAY: Vegan Fitness Influencer!

hey guys so I am back with the second video of my transformation series these were highly highly requested after I shared my transformation story if you haven’t watched that that was a few videos ago on my channel so you guys you can watch my entire life back story of my transformation but this video is going to be a little bit more a nutrition based and you guys all wanted to see a what I eat a day but honestly I eat the most boring meals and I usually don’t even cook for myself so I thought it’d be more educational and more helpful for you guys if I actually talked about how I used to eat how I eat now throughout my transformation and how you guys can know what to eat how much to eat all that stuff for your body and your goals and then I was going to show you some of my favorite snacks and meals even though they’re really boring so you guys know that I had an eating disorder for like on and off for like four or five years which obviously is screwed up my metabolism so I was eating under a thousand calories for like most of that entire time period after that I quickly increased my calories up to about two thousand and then slowly worked them up to four or five thousand and that’s how I was able to put on like 50 60 pounds in a year I was eating four thousand five thousand ish calories so I really really helped my my talent metabolism reset built that up so it’s so much faster now it’s like crazy fast now I can still eat a crazy amount of food decide to lean out I cut my calories down to about three thousand they’re like just under 3,000 not sort of what I’m eating right now between 3,000 and just over 3,000 just because I don’t want to be losing any weight right now I want to be either maintaining or even putting on a little bit of weight so I guess you could say that my maintenance is about 3,000 calories and I’m 5 to 140 pounds again as well if you guys didn’t know I’ve been vegan for just over 5 years now so that means they don’t eat any animal products and yeah that’s been really really working for me obviously you have to put a little bit more attention into like getting in your protein I’d be a little bit more creative with meals and stuff especially when you go out to eat I really love the lifestyle and eating that way it really works for me so how what how would you guys know how much to eat what would be best to eat what you’re gonna want to do is I I highly suggest not using online calculators or like basic base calorie ranges or whatever you can search up online because let me just tell you that when I search up how many calories I’m so see burning even if I put in the amount of exercise that I do it doesn’t tell me to eat more than 2,000 calories and I know for myself that if I ate less than 2,000 calories a day I would be nothing like I would lose so much weight so that’s just proof that these calculators don’t work for everyone they might work for some people but I would highly suggest just playing around with your calorie ranges to just play around with what works best for you especially with calorie ranges I would suggest choosing like mm maybe 2200 is a starting range and if you want to lose weight I you wouldn’t you don’t want it to be too fast so I play around with like trying to find a number where you’re not losing more than like a pound a week or something or else you’re gonna risk losing muscle as well which you probably do not want to do and then if you’re wanting to gain weight and you said it at 2,000 say and you’re not gaining any weight then slowly increase I want you guys honestly I always preached eat as much as you possibly can how I typically eat a lot of the questions that I get are surrounding like protein shakes my pre post workout meals joint eat snacks everything like that so I’ll give you guys kind of an overview of how I eat and then I’m going to show you guys some of the food that I eat some of my favorites so I eat like five or six times a day I find that works better for me it just keeps my energy up the entire day I feel that food just really keeps me going honestly so I like to have five or six like small big-ish meals every single day you know like breakfast lunch dinner that is kind of like meals throughout the day so I wake up like super early like 4:30 in the morning usually for 4:30 so I’m usually eating my first meal then before I go to the gym that’s just like a really basic meal I find that if I eat too much really early I get really bloated and I feel uncomfortable during my session so I eat usually the two pieces of toast with some jam and peanut butter and that’s that’s usually what I have as my pre-workout meal so I highly suggest eat lots of carbs before your workout post-workout meal I focus on carbs fat and protein so my post-workout meal is one of my biggest meals of the day I have usually a massive bowl of oatmeal with some fruit peanut butter as well as a protein shake I use the woman’s best protein then I just have creatine in there as well trying it but in 30 minutes to an hour after is like pretty much as fast as I possibly can after my workout I try and get some a good meal in I’m gonna stop talking I’m gonna show you guys we’re gonna head over to my kitchen and I’m gonna show you guys just like some basics maybe get some meal or snack ideas or food ideas for your next grocery trip so yeah let’s head over to the kitchen hey guys so now that we’re in my kitchen my biggest question is always on protein shapes I thought I made to show you guys I guess what I put into my shakes post-workout I eat I eat I drink three of these a day so the liquid of my choice I always use either on milk or cashew milk and then as for protein and supplements that I put into my shake I use this woman’s best vegan protein and I’ve use this throughout my whole transformation I absolutely love it this is just the chocolate vegan protein plants plant-based protein powder and I’ve a discount code in my buy of your interest in trying it out and then one of my biggest singles and meals that I mentioned before is oatmeal so I just Jews I have this massive jar of oatmeal here so I just use plain rolled oats I mix a banana into it to make it a little bit thicker if you guys don’t like oh you know this is really really helpful and then I just put peanut butter and berries in it usually or if I haven’t had my protein shake I can even mix my protein powder into my oatmeal one of my favorite snacks to eat throughout the day is rice cakes with peanut butter and jam I got these from Whole Foods and they’re just I don’t know brown rice rice cakes that’s a great way to get carbs and protein in so that could also be a really good pre-workout for you guys you make it convenient for you if you’re like in school you work full time or whatever you’ll want to pack your food this you’re not tempted to eat out all the time and stuff like that so I have things like these kind bars just protein granola bar type things and this is the maple glazed peek in and see so and this is the almond and coconut I also really like Laura bars as well and they’re just like healthier options of granola bars and they taste really really good in my opinion and they help you get a little bit more energy with protein card stuff like that so I would highly suggest something like this you guys can bring along with you as for bread options as I mentioned I like to eat toast for my breakfast projym this is I got these silver pills like this from Whole Foods silver has sprouted power the big sixteen loaded with 16 seeds and grains to fuel active days it’s like supposed to be a healthier bread which I highly suggest if you’re going to be eating bread try and find a healthier option than just your like plain white bread since I’m talking so much about peanut butter if you want a lower calorie option obviously this isn’t he’s exactly like peanut butter but it’s pretty close I get this from Whole Foods and it’s just a it’s PB 2 which is this powdered peanut butter you pretty much just like put it in a bowl mix it with water and I have to think it tastes really really good I’ll even eat it when I’m bulking I think it tastes awesome if you guys are vegan and you’re wanting more protein options – I eat a lot of like tofu beans even like tempeh obviously my protein powder but there’s also things like organic black bean pasta so this I just get it Whole Foods or like natural food sections and this has 22 grams of protein for a core of this package that’s incredible so this is just like being pasta then obviously how like you can have this like normal beans here or anything like grainy like quinoa couscous all that stuff usually has some protein in it so this is just golden and black quinoa I usually buy in boxes and it usually can be made like rice to like microwave so it’s really really simple if you guys are lazy like me but those are like my protein staples and then obviously I eat a ton of fresh food so like fruits vegetables everything like that and I think that’s literally all like yeah I promise you guys I literally eat so boring I eat the same things every single day but I eat all my favorite foods so I feel like it’s it’s really easy for me Oh another thing another thing is my favorite cereal so I eat tons of cereal because serious like my favorite food and when I got into fitness I refuse to give up cereal so Nature’s Path is a really really good brand I can get this at like Sobeys if you live in Canada or also at Whole Foods so you guys can get in the States as well it just Nature’s Path and these are the kamut puffs and these it’s like really good healthy cereal it doesn’t taste like anything so I had like fruit and cinnamon is up to it but they also have like peanut butter flavor chocolate flavor and everything like that so if you want a healthy cereal option your cereal lover like me and refused to give it up this Nature’s Path cereal great option so honestly you guys you don’t have to give up unhealthy food it’s just fine healthier options or make like meals that you enjoy that are somewhat healthier like if you love peanut butter eat your damn peanut butter that’s how I see it everyone’s number one question so I do not really drink at all to be honest I don’t enjoy it but I drink probably once every like two months and even when I do drink I don’t drink too much so I do not recommend it but this is like literally sitting in the back of my videos like I should probably like talk about alcohol but no I don’t suggest drinking too much especially if you’re trying to make progress of losing or gaining weight it’s going to affect how you train in the gym your energy throughout the date obviously alcohol has calories and those calories out fast so I would not recommend drinking too much especially don’t quote binge drinking every week it’s just going to reverse all your work throughout the week and it’s not worth it if you want a drink here and there 100% that is totally fine but I would not recommend it and I personally do not drink very much at all so yeah that answers a lot of your guys’s questions on whether I drink everything like that I do I started from 80 pounds and I got here you can do it too trust me it just takes a little bit of research on a little bit of work um a lot of work but you can get there as WHAT A VEGAN FITNESS COUPLE EAT IN A DAY TO SHRED

What’s up guys and welcome to another episode so today’s video we’re going to show you everything that we both ate in a day I will pop all my macros and calories that I’m currently on at the moment but latest addition to the menu is this new blast routine we have just been on this black probably 2 to 3 days and we’re absolutely loving it so this one is a chopped coconut flavor we also tried the vanilla try which amazing and then they’ve also got a salted caramel which we haven’t tried I’ve also got some LSA this is linseeds sunflower seeds and also an almond meal I just pop that in my smoothie because it’s higher in fat and it makes it tastier good for 5 extra fiber guys and then also another healthy fat I put into my smoothie is peanut butter almond milk and then I only put in one frozen banana so I’m gonna whip this off show you guys the original [Music] oh my god is so great so to be totally honest with you guys I have not had the greatest week like mentally I’ve been really quite hard on myself this week and just had so much stress and doing this so much that I just kind of let myself go and I haven’t been like concentrating on me but I’ll give you guys a bit of a physique update so today is the first morning that I’ve woken up feeling it not so negative towards myself which sounds really bad but I have been severely bloated like all week where my stomach has just been in agony the only thing that I can put it down to is obviously stress and also because we had those burritos last week and I haven’t had wraps in a while and I thought maybe it could be gluten so I think I might have to get like an allergy test towards gluten because sometimes it does bloat me this is me first thing in the morning currently seven weeks out today not feeling too bad I’m feeling maybe like a week or two behind but I feel like I can definitely catch myself up and also everyone always asked me where I get my bikinis I get all my bikinis throughs Apple these are my latest pair they’ve got like little bananas on them they’re really cute and JD is going to have the same smoothie but he’ll have obviously different macros or in the process of currently signing you guys up to our four week program yes you tied babe the gram I’m gonna go make my smoothie but I get more calories than Amy tape I’ll be a big blob Caroline hundred hearts and bake so major here caught in the same weave the last place to go he’s usually in our Mayo section Tina the talking tell me I’m exactly the same it’s a lost fight for me to go not in my legs pshaw is the best vegan protein I’m going to say it right there yeah meet her a lot of you guys actually listen trance this thing that whisp want to buy final wanted that we do not get anything from final on like free or discounted own even have a discount code we only get that the team jack yeah we get I’m just can’t do it for you guys we get no affiliate no products nothing that’s what I was honest about heart we’re just completely transparent with you guys if we like a product to tell you and this is a product that we like so yes we will never tell you things that we don’t believe in and we like this so we’re still Jack take your chocolate and the beauty of it is it’s only a four week program guys so you watch exactly and if you don’t have a lot of money this is more the program this is what we did it for is so that people with a bit less money and they didn’t want to commit to an eight-week program this is nice and quick JD’s just rippin up our favorite pasta showed you guys so many times but we’re gonna try the mung bean one because they didn’t have the fettuccine one in our local store how we make our pesto pasta this is something we get asked a lot so I’m going to show you guys one more time the ingredients and how to make it because it’s so easy so all you need is some baby spinach obviously some Faisel we use hummus lime juice nutritional yeast flakes and pine nuts or you can use cashews and we usually use a sprinkle of forget our part we’re going to use a little bit of this chicken stock so this one is vegan no MSG no animal content dairy free gluten free and plant base and what we do we never go by recipe or ingredients guys literally we just chuck it all in here and just go by taste test and this way every time it tastes different sometimes we don’t put a nutritional yeast flakes sometimes we put cash and sometimes like we said we use the forget off so it tastes different every time we make [Music] and that’s it guys so simple you got a blender or a food processor what’s that that’s the dishwasher alright guys so we’ve actually just had a bit of a light bulb moment here I put into my fitness power mung bean one right just to prove that like different sort of foods can have the packets not exactly always read the back of the packet as you can see for a hundred grams mung bean fettuccine 370 calories chickpea fettuccine 331 calories so if you are on a cut obviously we like to go lower our carbs so thirty six point seven grams of carbohydrates for the mung bean one if you check out the chickpea one only 23 grams so the same type of food can actually have different calories depending on the brand sometimes but also just angry just the ingredients because this is a bit of mung bean instead of chickpeas and also with the ingredients on the back like one all of them like they’re also like mung bean or chickpea they’re all edamame ninety percent of all these part all these pastas is made from edamame and then the ten percent is made from the mung beans or the chickpeas or a black bean so from now on we are definitely getting the chickpea 100 liter because that’s way way better macros and Colorado so you’re going to have our pre-workout feed Jani is gonna have his pasta the pesto and he’s also cooking up why not to release bags through them two of these veggie Delite not burgers and I’m just making up my protes I’m just going back on to rice flakes just because I enjoy them more than the quinoa flakes so I’ve got 40 grams of rice flakes and 50 grams of yoghurt 10 grams of less protein powder and just a splash probably not a splatter by milk a drowning a bomb and me [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] back from the gym I already had a first workout smoothie we ended up picking up the vanilla try and it tastes amazing so I’m about to make myself up like a person without food I’m absolutely starving what I’m gonna have is I don’t have two of these veggie sausages I’ve got some protein pastor there some pesto mix there got some avocado so I’m gonna make a salad and I want to make up some like garlic mushrooms as well and for my dressing I’m just going to use a balsamic vinegar JD just finished polishing off his body don’t make me say no last long the recipes in that for a bacon burrito and it’s so so quick and easy but the end result guys I’ve got my pesto pasta my two sausages got a salad with avocado also put some tin pineapple in there because I just love pineapple and cooked mushrooms there and I put some tumeric in there for trim works really good for anti-inflammatory and also put a little bit the chicken stock for an added salt as well so this is my biggest meal of the day and I always have it after my workout to refuel and refine my muscles and then I’m also gonna have some of this mineral water it’s got the peach play well I like the peach lime or raspberry and yeah this is zero calories and no sugar here eat this out on the balcony MJ days editing and I relax out here cuz I’m nature let me put down there some actually started incorporating these as well as a little treat for my dessert they’re gluten free wheat free but free lysate healthy but they’re the better yeah that’s it they’re the healthier version so there’s always a healthier option of something no matter what so this is the healthier option for cereal to get rid of those chocolate cravings paired along with simplest protein I’m having what do you got oh actually no added sugar dark chocolate with peppermint and then made with a reduced fat dark chocolate when it’s this allergy advice so it contains soy may be present serious pretend include milk tree nuts and peanuts that doesn’t mean it’s in it guys it just means that it it could be manufactured in the same sort of high protein snack and they’re also great at getting rid of parasites and worms as well I love chips like I love potato chips so these are sort of a replacement not good but yeah so tomorrow we’ll be going to Jenny’s parents place because they’re going on a cruise and we need to look after the puppy dog then you can say a lot of the puppies so yes next vlog will be at at just as parents and this dogs will be with us that’s exciting it’s gone of annoying because we like just move but we’re treating it as like a retreat so we’re gonna you know go there work on our mind you sauna and then but like it Merlin stops we are WHAT I EAT IN A DAY + WORKOUT ROUTINE | VEGAN

Hey y’all so I am here to share with you guys what I have been eating well some of what I’ve been eating on my fitness journey for my bikini competition so but before we start and get into this I want snapchat because we have been sending up in a little bit more since we have a little bit more time and yeah so now for the juicy stuff what have I’ve been eating okay I’m going to give you guys a lowdown on what I eat pretty much on a high day into my competition so my competition is July 30th the Lila burrata show in PC competition sticking to this diet has been it’s been a breeze but these last couple of days for some reason have been like really really challenging but I’ve been carb cycling these past three weeks so I have like a high day where I eat a bit more higher calories and higher carbs and then have a really really low day where I’m eating really low cal lower calories and lower carbs but basically my calories range right now because they tape it off since I’ve started dieting for this competition they have been tapering off slowly and so have my carbohydrates so do I recommend this diet for someone to get in shape on a daily no I don’t know to me it is not healthy this is not a Oh a like this everyday you can totally mess up your metabolism so my calories have been ranging from anywhere between 1100 in 1350 M our carbohydrates on a high day are about 95 grams to 100 grams they basically below 100 grams and in on my low days they’re about 45 grams to 50 max grams on a low day so I just one let you guys know no I will not continue to eat this way after the show I will keep you updated on how I’m doing I am looking into doing a reverse side I’ve been researching to figure out what’s going to be best for me I do not plan on going back to where I was to the way I was eating before where I was eating a ton of calories way to me for my body and way too many carbohydrates I’m not doing that but I’m also not going to continue the diet that I’m on now because it is not healthy so I’m going to find a nice medium in between and go from there and I will keep you guys updated on that as well so let’s start with breakfast okay so to start my day off I’m going to have a oatmeal tofu smoothie and I’m going to use my Vitamix blender to get the job done so I’m going to use 1/3 cup of oats about 1/3 cup of strawberries I’m going to use 1/4 of a block of firm tofu and I’m also going to add in half a cup of unsweetened vanilla cashew milk and I’m going to add about 8 to 12 ounces of water and I’m going to blend it all up for about 10 to 15 seconds and I am going to serve it in a mason jar and on top of it I like to sprinkle a bit of cinnamon that instead that this hopes to also burn fetch I don’t know I just really like taste and stir it all up and that is breakfast okay so from our post-workout meal I do just a simple protein shake using my garden alive organic a protein powder this is the vanilla flavor and I just simply mix it with water and I do this twice a day once from after my first workout and once after my second and as an on the go snack have packed a apple cinnamon rice cake here for when I needed and I eat this before my lunch so for lunch I am going to do tofu sweet potatoes and broccoli in I like to go ahead and preset the oven for my sweet potato to about 425 degrees Fahrenheit and of course I rinse my sweet potato out and I poke holes with a fork inside of the sweet potato just so to cook faster and more thoroughly and I wrap it in foil and put it in a non-stick baking sheet pan and I let this cook for about an hour and during that hour I prepare my other food so I’m going to start off with boiling some water for my frozen broccoli I’m going to add three cups here of frozen broccoli Emma let this cook while I prepare my tofu so I’m going to use extra firm tofu here and I’m going to use a knife and a cutting board to do job and I’m going to cut half the block into fours and I’m going to cut this side that I’m using it to 16 pieces and I’m going to use eight pieces for lunch I’m going to eat eight pieces for dinner so to flavor my tofu I’m going to use onion powder garlic powder ground cumin and paprika and I wait until the water warms up a bit and then I add in my seasonings and I kind of mix it up a bit and then I add in my tofu and kind of saute it and let it cook and I cook this all the way through until the water kind of runs out and tofu holds a lot of water so I try to cook it to where there’s not a lot of water in the tofu so during that time while my tofu was cooking up I strain out my broccoli and I began plating and I only eat half of the sweet potato here and I like to sprinkle on top some cinnamon because I love cinnamon and I’m also going to use some salt free chipoltle a seasoning by mrs. – and I’ll spring some on top of my tofu so that is my lunch ok now off to my afternoon snack I’m going to use my chocolate protein powder unsweetened cashew milk and organic frozen strawberries in some water so in the blender I’m going to mix two scoops of my chocolate protein for strawberries 1/2 a cup of unsweetened cashew milk and about 16 ounces of water and I’m going to blend that up for about 10 to 15 seconds in my Vitamix and I am going to drink that all up and now I’m having dinner so I’ve already precooked my tofu in my brown rice and so all I’m going to do here is cook my frozen asparagus and I’m going to cook the whole entire pack I’m going to eat the whole entire pack it’s not really a lot of calories but it looks like it and I let it cook for about six to eight minutes let it boil strain my asparagus and then i plate my food so all I’m gonna have is my 8 pieces of tofu in a half a cup of brown rice plain Jane and on top of my asparagus I like to use lime juice it’s zero calories zero sodium with mrs. Dash’s salt previous the lime seasoning and voila that is it so all someone like to add that I do drink about two gallons of water a day and I’m also taking a Fabri and I know they mentioned this earlier but it is by alpha mean and I also came across a vegan friendly VCAA powder but Lila Prada himself the guy who’s hosting the show that I’m actually going to be competing in okay so that’s the insight on my diet and it changes and it has changed constantly throughout the whole entire process and how it came about planning my diet I read a vegan muscle in bodybuilding book it’s called the vegan Muscle & Fitness guide to bodybuilding competitions in this book and I’ll show you what it looks like here on the cover has helped me out a ton and I also got tips from Danny my trainer and Carmen babysit say um also gave me tips along the way of you know what to do and what not to do as well I have been doing my diet this whole entire time and I pretty much used this book as a guide and pretty much tailored the meal plan to fit my needs and I’ve learned a ton by just doing my own diet myself so diet Liz was my little baby in this whole situation and training is pretty much Diddy so I want to give you guys the rundown on what my workout routine is during the week sunday is just simply a cardio day and we’re almost one week out from the show I’ve been cutting down on my cardio but for the most part I’ve been doing 45 minutes to an hour of cardio and I’ll try to switch it up sometimes I do Stairmaster sometimes I get on a treadmill um lately I’ve been like these past two or three weeks for like two weeks I don’t know I don’t know it’s like two and a half weeks I don’t know I’ve been going to the track so I’m going to track with Danny and I’ve been to the track requirement once it was a wake up call because I had ran track in long a long time I don’t like running but I needed to get my legs down my legs are pretty thick they’re hefty but I like my legs but for the show you know you gotta be a little slender than usual so um the track has much definitely hope that Danny and I we do Sprint’s bleachers job this job the Straits walk the curbs what I gave a car man was we pretty much sprinted the straights in job the curves I think five times around the track but there’s different different routines different workouts you can do the track and it pretty much helped get my legs down mondays are two a days I have five days out of the week where I workout twice so that’s like a cardio in a weight training day on Mondays I do cardio in legs and on Mondays I work out by myself or train by myself um and I’m pretty good with training my legs I feel confident all that stuff so I’ll do cardio you do it in the afternoon or the evening but I’ve been doing my weight training in the morning and my cardio in the evening all the days that I work out by myself that I wait trained by myself so Tuesdays I work out with Danny then the man and I do cardio in the mornings and I do back and biceps with him on Wednesdays Wednesday is another just playing cardio day it’s my choice of what I want to do for cardio Thursday is another day that I work out with Danny so I do cardio in the morning and I wait train with him in the afternoons and on Thursdays we do shoulders and we train hamstrings so we do shoulders and hams on Thursdays Fridays I train with Danny again I do cardio in the morning and we do legs together and so we hit legs Saturday I train by myself it’s another two a day and I’d like to do my weight training in the morning just to get it out of the way but if I can’t sometimes I’ll do cardio in the morning when I weight training by myself but I do chest and triceps in the morning on Saturdays and cardio in the evenings and sometimes here and there Danny will have me work on other muscle groups with him if I need the extra help like my triceps it was so hard for me to like they were being stubborn so it’s hard for me to trigger that muscle so he held me I’ll take quite a bit I’ll work out three times out of the week with Danny and he’ll give me the you know tips on what I should do for cardio or you know training certain muscles like my tries or my legs he’ll give me tips on what to do when I’m by myself so he has been such a big help to me in such a guide and such a great friend throughout this whole entire process he’s an amazing trainer and I couldn’t ask for more I’m so happy that I’ve met him how we begin our training through this room we began preparation for the show is we did heavier weights in less reps and so now that we’re getting closer I guess you call that bulking so it was bokken moon doing heavier weights less reps that was with during our poking phase and now that we’re closer to the show we have been doing lighter weights in more rifts so we’re in a cutting phase right now and he’s getting ready to cut my my cardio just so I can retain most a little bit more and yeah we’ll start depletion next week so I’ll be cutting out my water and I’ll be taking some diuretics in order to release water weight from my body so that you can see the muscle definition a bit more he said I’ll be cutting out my protein shake so my diet of course is going to change and I’ve got to be hydrated so that should help out with the tofu retaining water stuff like that if I have to increase my tofu or tempeh intake tempeh doesn’t really have a lot of water but it’s the tofu does but yes so that is my workout routine I do want to mention that I believe that you can train for show without the use of a fat burner and other supplements I’m using them because I ran into diet issues earlier on in preparation for the show and needed substance pastor in order to be competitive so if you’re doing it WHAT I ATE TODAY + 10 MIN MEAL RECIPE (vegan)

That’s good don’t have pages if you haven’t had a donut peach so this in my Instagram story the other day you have not lived they are the best peaches ever it’s just like a birthday cake flavor yeah they’re just like super sweet anyways guys good morning it is earlier than we usually wake up isn’t it a little bit this morning I’ve made some oatmeal we’re making it a quick oatmeal as you saw I just poured some hot water on my oats don’t normally make oatmeal like that it doesn’t usually come out to be like the best texture but it’s gonna work for us this morning cuz what are you doing this morning we’re going on ATV and four-wheeler anyway it’s for wheeling yes we’re going off-roading okay quad biking are those all ATV in right terms yeah okay we’re going to ATV in we’re going for wheeling like an hour and a half away which is why we’re up early because we have one morning’s lot to do so so we have to drive an hour and a half and actually our Airbnb host yes yeah invited us to go so that’s where we’re going this morning and we’re having a quick bowl of oats with some delicious donut peaches [Applause] just a bit of sugar in office yeah I’ve got no maple syrup maple syrup we were told the trails might be muddy so I’ve changed out of my first outfit because I didn’t want to get that muddy so I’m wearing just kind of clothes that I don’t care about getting money we’re ready to go a TV hour and a half later and we’re at South Africa forest adventures appear going on I don’t want to drive my own because I’m kind of scared it’s me we’ll see we have the GoPro so let’s go go pro footage [Music] so we just finished ATVing that was so much fun I was really scared to do it myself but once I started doing it I was like okay I got this it’s like super beautiful scenery and we actually had to change locations we were at one location and there was forest fire so then we had to move to another location but this location was absolutely beautiful yes now I am so ready for food that was so fun I’m so dirty my whole face is covered in dirt I had to go to the washroom and to wipe it all dirty boy you’re like this haha shirt in your shoes we went through so many like mud puddles and Kyle didn’t lift up his feet he just like let them get soaked by mud but my shoes are clean [Music] would you get their dreams [Applause] Tom had tofu so long like some said ginger I think that’s ginger big chicken burger let’s get into it alright guys we are back home from lunch and I had a shower we’ve just kind of chilled a little bit we definitely needed that shower we got out of the shower and we have white towels and we were wiping like just like you know like drying our face and our neck and there was still dirt coming off of our necks even though we had showered we didn’t realize how dirty we actually were and I have a few friends about join me on my face so I’m not gonna cover them up because I don’t need to cover them up I’m sick of covering them up I hate putting on makeup I haven’t been wearing makeup for like this past month and a half and my skin has been doing really well except for right now it’s very angry at me but I think it’s because I’m ovulating so those of you Latian pimples but I am having a quick snack right now pretty random foods I’m having uh rice cakes with avocado and some light cheese yummy the light cheese you’re actually pretty good even though they don’t look like totally pink they’re not like Thailand light cheese but they still taste good so that’s my little snack I’m gonna do some editing because I have some work to do today and yeah argaï so it’s a little bit later and i’m gonna be making some dinner and today we just had a very long day we got up super early and then we spent probably like four hours of driving in the car today so we’re just kind of beat and I don’t really feel like cooking Kyle doesn’t feel like cooking we don’t feel like making anything so I’m just gonna whip up something super easy and quick and I’m whipping up whipping whipping what I call one of my 10-minute meals I’ve posted a few of these on my Instagram and this one specifically everyone had a lot of questions about so I thought I would make it for dinner tonight because one we don’t have like anything in the house we need to go grocery shopping and we have all the ingredients for this so it worked out perfectly so this is what I’m making we’ve got three cans of vegetable soup this one is vegan we get it from Woolworths everyone was asking in the Instagram comments which a veggie soup that we get and if it has good ingredients and it has pretty good ingredients I mean I could do without the sulfur dioxide but it’s pretty good and it tastes very fresh and delicious so I’m making three cans of these because we’re kind of hungry today usually we just have a can each but and then I’m also gonna be adding some canned kidney beans I’m just gonna drain and rinse these and I’m going to add that to the soup and in this pot I have some kale and also under here some tender stem broccoli which you guys know that we love so much and I’m just going to add a little bit of water and then I’ll put the lid on this and steam it up and while my veggies are steaming I’m going to heat up a soup and there’s already kadhi beans in this soup mix but I like to add in an extra can just to give it a little bit more protein and make it a little bit more filling okay so my soup is hot it probably took like seven minutes I’m adding in some of the steamed kale mix that in a little bit I also have some ciabatta on the side because you need ciabatta when you eat in soup I’ve got the steamed broccolini and then finally we top it with some beautiful avocado I’ve had lots of avocado today but I’ve been craving avocado so this is perfect so literally like no prep time for this meal it’s just super quick and easy literally ten minutes and done Jimmy Jimmy should we get you reaction [Music] [Applause] well there’s a little update on how Jack is doing oh my gosh I miss him so much I know you guys miss him too I see a few of you guys asking about him in the comments so a lot of people seem to think that eating a plant-based diet takes a lot of preparation and time and it’s just too much for them to handle and majority of the time yes you need to be prepared you need to meal prep if you have a busy schedule but that goes for if you want to eat healthy in any diet even if you are eating animal products you still need to prepare the animal products and what’s the difference if you are preparing a piece of meat or animal than preparing plants so I don’t know I’ve never cooked me my parents always cooks the meat I would always just make craft dinner like like but it just as long as making a regular lasagna I know like it’s it takes less time to make I think people just think they need to like think about it more because they they’re not just using like regular cheese or meat anyways I want to show you guys that you can have a delicious wholesome meal in under 10 minutes and there’s so many different variations that you can make 10-minute meals I think I need to make like a series of 10-minute meals like this is super wholesome you’ve got lots of greens healthy fats from the avocado extra beans extra protein and vegetable soup now normally I would recommend yes that you make your own veggie soup and have that prepped in the fridge but we all have busy lives and there is going to be days where you don’t feel like cooking we’re all human we all don’t always feel like cooking every single day so having options like this I think is so important because I think a lot of like what I eat in a day is that you see on youtube from vegans are like them pre planning their day and like they already know what they’re gonna have for dinner that and they make sure that they have extra time to prepare that meal and in reality we all have busy lives and you know so it’s okay to have some canned veggie soup don’t be afraid to have some canned veggie soup or healthy convenience foods I would say canned vegetable soup is a healthy convenience food so delicious wholesome I should do like boyfriend does a voiceover for my wedding so I don’t have bread that often but I love spot-up with soup but if you have like leftover quinoa or something in the fridge that would be really good to even throw in the soup you know just need those calories so guys I hope you enjoyed this video we had a really fun day today going and exploring parts of South Africa that we haven’t seen before it was really cool to like take that two-hour drive and just like drive all the way out into the country and then riding on those ATVs everything seems kind of dead but like it’s just seeing like the
